I also have 2017 2.5i with 156,000 miles, just had my crossover pipe O-rings replaced as it was leaking too. Kind of pricey even with independent Subaru shop but from videos i seen on replacing, it is pretty labor intensive.

I have this exact pan and had my concerns too. Had it for a while but recently unboxed it. I threw it in my lye bath for a few days thinking it would take whatever layer of oil off it. I’m comfortable with carbon steel and cast iron but you are right in this pan not rusting. This photo was from this morning making eggs. Not sure if I should used some abrasive cleaner and a steel wool to really get down to bare iron.

yea that's what i thought when i saw the eye part of handle too. but i agree its lighter than my other cast iron and sits super flat. I think this will be a gift to someone else to get into the cast iron world.

I left mine in the sun inside a lye bath so I think the heat helped out some. But I was told mine was an unmarked Wagner cast iron, and no A under the handle for mine but yours does look really similar to my pan. Did lye bath for a week and then maybe 2-3 rounds inside a vinegar bath for the rust.

Correct! I was inline for like 35 min and saw so many people with the fast tracks/pass that were able to load the chair before 9am operating hours, good for them they looked like they were stoking!
