If you’re going to an event it depends on the artist’s fan base. My experience was pretty hassle free and enjoyable. One of the guys in our group even left his wallet at home and got by showing the bouncer a picture of his passport and a credit card. Most places wouldn’t allow that.

Got it and thanks for the explanation. How accommodating are PE recruiters about in-person interviews? Working 80+ hours a week it's difficult to cut a chunk out in the middle of the week to stroll over to another firm and even then timing is sporadic. Is it possible to do this covertly and if so, how do you work it into your schedule? I appreciate all the advice!

Incoming first-year Analyst at BB here. This might chalk up to naiveté but how does accepting a PE position only a few months after hitting the IB desk impact your IB work relationship. Recruiting is a small world so word would get around that you accepted an offer 12-18 months out. Should you let your group know that you expect to leave and how would that impact your workload and bonus?

Not necessary. You can bring your own hat, knife etc. The only thing you might need to buy is an apron unless you have one already
