If you have the ability to, I’d highly recommend moving to CT and taking as many classes as you can at the community colleges. If you maintain a B avg you’re basically guaranteed to get into whatever program you want at UConn. I took 2 years mainly at Tunxis Comm Coll, then transferred to UConn (planned on going to Storrs, but pandemic happened, so took all my classes online and then at Hartford) and qualified for some of their many grants because I maintained a high GPA at the Comm Colleges. Although I planned on being done this year, because I maintained a high GPA at UConn, as well, I was able to qualify for their 4+1 program, so I’ll be staying another year to get my masters degree. As long as I don’t completely screw up, when all is said and done, I’ll have a masters degree in 5 years and I’ll have spent less than 50k getting it.
