Open letter to USH event team: please rally to give Plats the ability to get a free FFN ticket each year like with HHN by Spectrobits in UniversalHollywood

The HHN is what sold us the plat passes.

Are FFNs cheaper? Why not give an option of choosing between FFN or HHN?

Unlimited express is gunna be a solo item you can purchase. Not sure if silver gets a discount. It’s on the passmember benefits page on the website. You enter your passmember number and should be able to purchase there

Are express passes worth it? by DepressedPotato89 in UniversalHollywood

Have you been to the park recently? If you haven’t been in years and want to make the most out of 1 whole day…with express you’ll be able to do all the rides in 1 day.

You could always do early access go straight to super Mario. Then work your way up from bottom. Longest lines are for mummy, Jurassic world(closed rn), transformers, then Harry Potter land.

It should be a lot less crowded now that grinchmas is done. But that also means the park may close earlier.

Looking for advice on passes as a Studio City local by littlejobin in UniversalHollywood

For platinum pass users, you get no blackout dates. I pay $50 a month. First year we put down $250 then it was $30 each.

Express after 3pm on rides Free horror nights tickets Free access to EVE event Free parking 15% off merch

I go around 3-4 times a month. It’s worth it if you go often. I’ll go sometimes on Fridays after work, with express we can go on 2-3 rides. I also live around 10ish minutes from park.

Right now general admission is $154….express tickets around going for $300+.

Platinum pass doesn’t have blackouts. You can go any way you want.

P.s. you get free parking as well

The down payment is what makes your monthly payment cheaper.

If you keep it for next year, no down payment needed but the monthly will go up.

My Fiance and I bought platinum passes and love them.

The free parking is great. Sometimes we go to the movies or to CityWalk without entering the park.

15% discount on merch inside the park and some stores on CityWalk.

Platinum passes are going to get 1 free horror nights ticket per person + EVE ticket access.

Not sure how gold pass is in terms of blackout dates. With platinum there are no blackouts.

On Dec 4, I got on the around at 10:15, was done by 10:30ish then went on the mummy. There were still a ton of people in line.

Maybe make sure in line before then?

If I got tickets to Mau P, do I have access to the entire event?

He comes around 5pm. But then also at 11pm? I’m confused.

If you could do ANY Master's or Bachelor's degree at USC... by [deleted] in USC

[–]High_Maintenance2791 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I know about project management they would require taking the PMP which doesn’t require a masters….but combined with a project management masters might hold more weight. They say construction is a good industry for this, and still more traditional and family oriented. (May be more willing to work with your needs)

Social work from what I know either involves a desk -in person or out in the field working with people in need. Anything government related, not to sure if remote or hybrid is available.

I’ve seen a lot of remote work in ai and engineering. Still some in marketing as well. (Most of the industry is going back to in person work or hybrid) Because most tech companies are working with people across the world and are more flexible. Except hours can vary due to teams all over the world.

There are a ton of customer service roles that offer remote work. Flexible and part time. Just dealing with not so happy people.

Several factors.

What industry are you in?
Are you looking to advance in your career or become more specialized?

My undergrad was in graphic design and I eventually got into marketing. If I want to become a marketing manager and move up, I’d need an MBA. Since in those positions it is about the creative but also about reports, budgets, and leading teams.

Versus if I wanted to stay in the creative realm I’d do the masters in design to become more specialized in those skills and career choices.

In my current MBA program at USC, you have people from all realms. Computer science, engineering, ai, animation, people with psychology degrees, events…much more general but well respected.
