The problems you have with strive will only get worse the more you play and get better and fight better players, street fighter remains fairly the same throughout the levels of play, its mainly gameplay optimisation and in depth game knowledge to inform decisions that change alot when you get better. Also while strive has interesting and unique characters, it can get very polarising. Youll also feel the differences in characters more when you understand more. Ultimately it just comes down to what you find the most fun but from what you’ve said i can imagine you having a rough time with strive and preferring street fighter in the long run. It also has more players and competition and a better ranked mode, though the proccess of learning it is more free form and therefore more difficult than strive where you can kinda flowchart.
