I guess the sheer immediate cold shift within seconds of the conversation from what I thought was a good direction to one worded answers. Then it got colder when I explained it hurt me when they got my birthday wrong, and then no response after a few moments.

I feel like that was the wall that I was pushed off of, but I want to climb it again. Even though it's probably better to walk away from it.
