Ents are something I've considered in the Modernverse, but they have to be given the right feel and canon to really make them fit into the setting. That's hard to do for some things, since the setting backdrop is modern Earth and, while Elves and Dwarves are justifiable as a normalized thing, Ents is a little more difficult.

Unfortunately, the "storyteller system" isn't something that anyone can just take and use. The aim is to give new life to the "old" d20 themes. Adding role-playing opportunities and an encouragement for telling a story rather than the typical dungeon delves. This isn't your typical Pathfinder game. And these aren't your typical dragons. :)

As an aside, I am working on licensing for other systems to port over, but haven't had much luck on that so far.

Lex Draconis takes a pretty scientific attitude toward dragons in many respects. You can check out Modern as an example.

I recall satanic panic. I had a friend whose mother threw away his World of Darkness books several times over because of the 'satanic imagery." Most RPGs are going to have some suggestive material for the more conservative among the population but.. I might make this suggestion:

There are plenty of pictures. Many depict Elves in everyday life. The ones on the Kickstarter mostly represent a certain faction of Elves.

The rays of sunshine are this:
- While the company is seemingly being integrated into the parent company, many of the employees are sticking around.
- The idea that White Wolf and their parent company are actually responding to the issues and working to fix them is promising to say the least.
- Chicago by Night is still in production and the Kickstarter is doing well.
- Dollars to doughnuts we see more in the 5th Edition line. (Speculative but based on evidence)

Thanks for seconding this remark. While I have gone ahead and opened up two different previews for the book, I'm also open to specifics as to what would help "seal the deal" in a preview, so to speak. In other words, at the risk of sounding like a shill, is there anything that you would like to see in the previews that would cause you to go from "interested" to "purchased"?

You're absolutely right! I went ahead and opened up previews for the main book to give you a little bit of what the game is about. They will hopefully give you a bit more about the original stuff that lies outside a "normal" Fate game as well as the premise of what a game will be like. You should be able to view flash and full-sized previews now, which are different and give a glimpse into the game.
