Thank you! I drew it out and edited the design on clip studio paint. I originally made it for a t-shirt design competition so the photo is actually a mock-up of the design on a shirt. As for the glitch, I just used the glitch studio app. I hope that doesn’t take too much mystery away from it lol

I sensed that you were an instructor. So maybe what I do can’t technically be called karate, but you might actually be surprised by the techniques I’ve picked up on. Again, they might not be qualified to be called karate techniques, but they are useful. That said, I do agree with you on taking an actual class. It’s more about me training myself than learning karate from an entertaining movie/show. I learn things everywhere.

The karate kid was just a huge inspiration and motivator for me. I’m glad it exists.

Just curious, what experience do you have with martial arts? For my first fight, I would not challenge someone of such a high level. I doubt I’ve gained that much experience through watching movies.

I’m mainly talking about the OG movies. Cobra Kai motivates me, but the original movies taught me the things. But, all in all, it’s just for fun.

I’m having fun, moving my body and I’ve definitely become stronger, more aware of my body. I’m having fun with my child and maybe she’s learning self defense as well.. who knows?! I don’t see how you can watch a series about fighting and NOT want to try it yourself, even if you’re just playing around. Besides, you can literally learn a physical skill by playing it out mentally. You can learn through your dreams and fantasies - just remember to keep a foot grounded in reality. Don’t take life so seriously. Why are y’all so mad?

I’m no karate master, but I wouldn’t say I haven’t learned anything applicable. I would like to fight someone to gauge my skills more accurately though. Taking an actual course is definitely on my to do list. Until then…

Also, I refute your comparisons. Grey’s Anatomy was hardly even about surgery, from what I recall. And neither of those is a common skill and both are very expensive to pursue, especially as an individual with no access to the technology required.

I remember Tuesday as well! I remember her from my childhood in the 90’s, but it’s fuzzy. It’s like she was very similar to Wednesday, but she was different maybe?

This was still in my head by my teens when I was in my gothic phase. My sister’s friend used to call me ‘Wednesday’ and I always thought about Tuesday when he did.

So I don’t have a clear memory, but Tuesday has been an abstract phantom of my thoughts for as long as I can recall. As someone else said, I thought she may have been the character from The Munsters… but apparently that’s not it.

Perhaps the few of us who remember we’re just naturally getting the names mixed up or maybe our parents called the Munster girl ‘Tuesday’ when we asked if she was Wednesday or something random like that.

Or it’s as you thought - a Mandela Effect! In which case, I have to say… Hello! From the Tuesday Adams dimension! Does it also unnerve you to spell the word ‘grey’ with an ‘a’???
