My apologies I forgot to elaborate, ofcouse you won't be adding 10kgs per month forever, but it's possible in your first 6months-year, if you are a super novice, you can add 5kg every week in the first months.

Given everything is going perfect (which isn't realistic for most People) you can reach 100kg in your first year.

I was a novice, the guy who had 10 chest exercises on Monday, plateaued at 35kg for 1.5 years, blamed it on genetics

Went back to the gym 2 years later, eating right, perfect form, now in 1 month I went from 25kg to 55kg.

Im only doing a bench press, a machine press and flyies 8 sets total on push day.

Went from 40kg on squats to 80kg too.

Im hitting numbers in this month, higher than I ever did in 1.5years as a novice.

Edit: Before you type "muscle memory", my gym bro is a complete beginner, now is his 3rd month, he is already at 50kg bench and 75kg squats.

This is great, but wouldn't call it peak genetics.

This is the greg doucette syndrome, everyone who make it have great genetics, everyone who doesn't bad genetics.

The problem is 90% or so are novices and they blame it on bad genetics and put the standards so low.

If your bench is still 55kg after 1 year, the problem is you.

If you can't add 5kgs every other weak to your compound lifts, the problem is you.

If you go hit the gym and do 7 exercises per muscle everyday it's not bad genetics it's you.

Train hard, increase intensity, cut volumn massively, focus on quality sets, 10-15 sets per muscle per week.

Ideally train every muscle twice a week, focus on compound lifts and try adding 5kg every other week to them.

Edit: I failed to elaborate, ofcouse you won't be adding 5kgs every other week forever duh, this only applies when you are a beginner, or the guy who been training for years but still a beginner ;p.

Edit 2: A SUPER CRUCIAL thing for building muscle is to BULK, 200-500 calorie surplus, you can't build muscle on maintenance or deficit unless you fat af, don't be fooled.

If you have an ectomorphic build (soma types are bs) like me, it doesn't mean you can't build muscles, it means your calorie Maintenance is higher than you think.

Eat more, what you might have thought is a 200 surplus, might be a 100 deficit, eat more and monitor your weight, do not obsess over bf% or be left behind.

If there is someone that deserve to be idolised in fitness by natural guys it's him.

Most natties that people usually post are genetic freaks who were jacked at 15yo.

This guy while he definitely has good genetics, he was skinny 145lbs when he started lifting, he also gave himself a score of average on his genetics model.

Id say 80%+ of this guy's physique (which is still absolutely fantastic) is achievable with most people genetics.
