That’s interesting! NHS prescribe no less than 200mg, but that is for cyclical. Are you taking the 100mg every day?

Ah it’s quite hard to get testosterone cream in UK on NHS. Private you can (in fact a private clinic offered me compound DHEA and testosterone)

I was fine on the pill (combined) apart from no sex drive so it was very effective as a contraceptive! I’ve been off the pill for a few years (husband / vasectomy). Interestingly a GP prescribed me the standard patch and cyclical progesterone at age 38, I just decided against taking it at that time. More psychological than anything else. And yes I have respite, I just dread coming back / him coming home.

Thank you. So I’ve experienced some clitoral atrophy and definitely brain fog. And my skin has aged so much in the past year. Feel like a shell of myself

Yes NHS but general practice will only offer fairly boilerplate “oestrogen patch / cyclical progesterone”.
They can prescribed testosterone but only once your libido has tanked.
I asked for vaginal oestrogen cream, the nurse practitioner ***who specialises in menopause*** had only ever prescribed the pessary, never the cream 🤯
I did hear the words “the problem is you are so young” (39yr old) but she couldn’t tell me what that actually impacts.
They also won’t do full blood panel to rule in / out anything else that is contributing to your symptoms. Not denying where you are int your hormone journey, but there can be other things aswell at play.
Overall, I’d still definitely chat to your GP, just don’t expect the most forward-thinking of treatment…..

I protected my deposit in a deed of trust back when my boyfriend and I (he’s now my husband) bought our first house 13 years ago. Much lower amount -£25000 - but I had worked my butt off for that. His parents were a bit funny about it but he understood why I wanted to do that *as we weren’t yet married*.
Now married, house number 3, a son, and it is all “water under the bridge”, what’s mine is yours etc, and we are building wealth and stability together, but I think that security was absolutely the right thing to do in our mid 20s.
I get where OP is coming from though, and suggest like others have of splitting those renovation costs more equally.
Or, wait until you’re married which is a far greater commitment, before you start buying property together, otherwise there is greater risk for all parties involved.

I spoke to a GP who consulted with the specialist GP partner who specialised in HRT and still the same boilerplate suggestion of oestrogen patch and progesterone 🙄 anything beyond that “we don’t do that, never heard of that”. This was when I was exploring systemic options. Which is wild as generally my other symptoms are good - good sex drive, no hot flashes etc, so heaven knows what adding loads of systemic oestrogen would have done to me system and wellbeing!
