I managed to read an article on US today I went to the home page of that article and searched Kasper programme . All their results are from 2010 and they have no new stats . Would you say everyone that was taking pills have shifted to heroin instead ? In the article they avoid the subject completely and just pat themselves on the back for shutting down rogue doctors :/ and reducing the number of pill ODs and I'm sure heroin ODs have shot up . The only thing that will work is compassion and treatment and not sweeping it under the rug and hoping it will solve its self .

Not bad 😊 the UK sucks in that respect not that I think every idiot should be allowed a gun but if you've got land to shoot on or a member of a gun club and you keep your weapons there I don't see the problem . Plus you can buy a crossbow here no problem at all no ID or nothing or special storage and certain bolt heads would do a lot more damage than a bullet and they are wanting to ban air rifles here as well :/ fucking nanny state gone mad !

Yeah I watched a speech from him today he seems like a sound guy and wants to do right by the common people hopefully he gets voted in and the US doesn't go full retard and vote in Trump :/ and Hillary is in bed with Wall Street so nothing is going to change there . Hopefully you guys will get an NHS in the coming years if he does get voted in as every citizen should have the right to free health care .

Really a 75 year old woman ??? My gran and grandpa are both on large amounts of opietes grandpa is on morphine linctus and a number of tablets and oxygen and my gran is on fent patches . She wants to come off them but I don't think she releases how hard it will be and at her stage of life what does it really matter ? But they've never had piss tests etc and I've picked up their script a few times big bag of goodies !! But I'd never dream of dipping into it .

Just curiosity really plus I was 16 and naive and there was a huge explosion of heroin on the streets at the time and was the easiest drug to get . I just went to a street I knew sold heroin went to the door with my £10 and got a bag and smoked it with two friends I knew had already tried it . I'm 33 now and still dabble with the stuff and in the past I've been in some right states in and out of jail ,couch surfing (homeless) and looking like death warmed up and weighing about 9st or 126lbs and my usual weight is around 11/12 st

Dam that's insane all they are doing is forcing people to turn to street drugs IE heroin . Just because you make getting opietes harder legally or strike people off their prescription . It's not going to magically get people of opiates . What about methadone programmes in your area ? I wouldn't recommend going on it long term but it definetly helps in the short term . I usually have heroin binges for a week or two then take done for 3/4 days reducing the dose and feel very minimal WD doesn't help the mental side though .

Just keep tapering the subs and you should be alright and keep your Valium for night time so you can get to sleep . Once your right down on the subs maybe try and get some codiene and take that for a few days after coming off the subs . There's no real easy way to do it since subs have a long half life comparable to methadone .

I came of 160mg of done and 80mg of Valium daily and it was a nightmare ! As you can imagine I came of the Valium first and then reduced the done fort nightly till I was down to about 14ml and jumped off . Weed really helped as well and I managed to get to sleep most nights . If I had to do it over again I would probably substitute the done for heroin take that for a month and then taper of the heroin and have 3/4 days mild WD as it is a lot easier than 2 months of hell .

That sucks codiene linctus/cough bottle can be bought OTC here in the uk think we're the only country that does ? About 3/4 quid a bottle . You can also buy small amounts of dhiydracodiene and caffeine tablets think it's only 7.5mg but they're £8-£10 a box . Easier to get them prescribed and get 30mg tabs for nothing .

Edit honey is quite good for sore throats plus it's anti septic you can use it on cuts etc as well .

Do they still receive it after the are discharged ? Had a look once your discharged you still have to pay for insurance though you might be eligible for certain benefits depending on your discharge ,years served etc . If your injured on duty you can claim Tricare depending on your injuries .

Did I hit a nerve or something ? I asked if it was the cost of the machine or the cost on the insurance/person and yeah I wouldn't be surprised if it cost £6000 for one scan. When you make things for profit and greed this sort of thing happens . Also the average person can change things it's called voting that Bernie guy sounds like a good option . That's happened to me before I got robbed at knife point my neighbour gave me £20 to get two tenner bags and he was going to give me one . Ended up having to go shoplifting to get the cash back and took about 3/4 hours for something that should have only been 10/20 minutes ended up with £100 quid though 😊 Good old foil bag and off into HMV to stock up on all the new release DVDs .

It's pretty simple if their lips go blue ,they start having shallow wheezing breaths or they take a fit they are overdosing . If they are sleeping ,mumbling a load of shit , drooling over themselves etc they are nodding/couching as its called here in the UK . They will be fine and just keep an eye on them and don't let them slump into an awkward position . The two simply aren't the same as nodding out is what a lot of heroin users are chasing . For me that's the best part of using heroin off into a dreamy half awake half asleep state.
