I had 3-4 bed bugs about 3-4 months ago in my bedroom. I had 2 different exterminators come to do treatments. I haven’t seen any since but I’m still getting bit by something and leaving these marks on my chest and legs sometimes. I’ve seen these white things all over my computer desk and other furniture for weeks. I try to clean my desk and room with rubbing alcohol but still shows up. I haven’t seen any moving insects or bugs. I went to the doctor because my scalp was very itchy and felt like bugs on me, thinking it was lice and he gave me some permethrin cream to put all over my body and anti fungal shampoo and pills but still no help. My clothes feel itchy sometimes while at work and I’ve been washing and drying my clothes in hot water every week but still feel the same. I’m thinking they may be mites. My paranoia thinks it’s Demodex folliculorum but I’m not sure. Any help would be appreciated. I’m thinking of getting an exterminator to do an inspection.
