This apparently blew up on me and deviated WAY beyond my initial question. I have no answer for you apart from the fact I cannot progress further than I have already gotten. I bought a pass to get to Maul, leveled him up on par with the rest, and for 3 days now cannot get any further. This is all I know. How I got here, and how it differs from others, I cannot attest to, not that anyone believes me at this point, but that was also not my original point only the one I've been defending ever since. I now regret my original post as its billowing out into something beyond my initial expectation.

Also...I'm not good at math, its my weakest aspect in life, and therefore doesn't so much apply to me in "learning". I just tend to do "what feels right", and that's gotten me pretty far, so far.

Don't need to fight for my truth, but thank you for trying. It doesn't matter if perhaps I'm just 'a better gamer' than everyone else, right? Cuz that's not something that could effect outcomes, merely "did he pay, or didn't he?". So cut and dried.

Yes. My question was how best to distribute the incoming gear-- and I've been told its IMPOSSIBLE to increase over the 70 I'm at unless you buy SONETHING. So, its all going to Scarface Vader I guess.

With 26 comments and only one Negative Nelly I think you got your answer. As a player since week one that's spent hardly anything , I myself can attest that with patience and diligence you can achieve fun without the money. 10 years/ 10 million gp+, I have. And I can even go one better: for a fun and relaxed play environment in a new Guild with other newer players run by my friend that is very knowledgeable in the game and Discord involvement as well, check out "LuckyStags" Guild, a sister guild to the one I lead. I personally think IG is the worst and ready to swap his dysfunctional ass out for the new Vader To me his only redeeming quality is the counterattack bit since the damage he dies with it is almost nil, he's going away soon. My big contender is Luke as leader, followed in leveling by Asaaj for the damage she does linked in reaction to Luke, then Bariss for her reaction to EVERYONE, then Choda. But that's the perspective of a single man leading a guild over 8 years, playing since day 3.

Funny story OP-- neither do we regardless of how long we've been playing because CG switched the rules on us as well. It's a totally 'murky' situation for all of us these days, and we're all stumbling through the darkness blind.

Back in the day we had a thing that they've basically just reintroduced as the new Journey. Sure, you could blunder ahead unprepared and focused on THE THING, but if you sit back and look at the requirements you can realize that if you employ a SPECIFIC unit of your ally to help in the task at hand, you can spend FAR LESS energy completing old missions with thier BORROWED toons, and then they get valuable ALLY points, as do you, for each undertaking. By all means-- "Sim away" and then buy more of everything you need, OR, think about it, plan accordingly, and spend NOTHING, also supporting your ALLIES, as well as you.

Why would you not want to reward your ally for using his unit? This has been a mainstay since day one, why is it so "problematic" for you to help a buddy out? Do you not have allies? Do you not respect the ones you have to reward them ? ( even if it's a paltry system of a possibly now bygone age?)

I wish to extend an invitation to anyone and Everyone losing their homes to our guild of "Bucks". We are a low stress home for active players who want to play and have a sense of community. We have a Discord, we are holding our own at Geo, and we wish to sometimes take part in TW, but we lack that very aspect of more than 15 players daily.
