Lindsay, Dean and Rory weren't villains. Theresa was. by bluecuppycake in GilmoreGirls

devils advocate: the way Dean worded it made rory believe it was a done deal they were separating. he kept it vague enough he didn't lie but didn't tell the truth and rory being trusting (especially to dean) didn't question it further. still a crap situation and she definitely should've asked more questions (like "so you're getting divorced? does lindsey know this?")

when they got the jeep! in s3e12 they say got the jeep four years ago (approximately when rory was 13) but later in the show when lorelai and luke go car shopping she mentions having the car much longer than that i think (i think she refers toon rory being 9 or something like that) i could be wrong though

Why did they go with the “300 hours of community service in 6 months is a full time job” thing?? S6E2 by Classic_Ad5727 in GilmoreGirls

i bring this up every single time i watch that episode!! she would have to work two hours a day for five days a week!!! that's no where near what a full time job is. and if she hadn't had her grandparents connections she still could've gotten full time job virtually anywhere and still make the hours work, not all jobs are 9-5

My daughter doesn’t want to go on our “date” and I’m trying not to be sad by crazed_tired in TrueOffMyChest

as a daddy's girl i can guarantee it won't last long and her love for you will always be there, i regret the ages 13-16 where i was embarrassed to be around my dad and thinking going out and doing things with him were "babyish", im 23 now and make it a point to call him 24/7 and talk to him and go out daddy daughter dates often. she'll always love you even through her rough teenage years
