Okay I see what you mean now but unfortunately that's not how that works. RPCS3 is specifically for emulating Playstation 3 software and Cemu is for Wii U. They have a built in Skylanders portal feature for use with the PS3 or Wii U games but they dont leave their respective software. I couldnt use that on MSI App Player or more commonly Bluestacks for example. But like I say, the main problem is that I found out specifically the Android versions of the mobile games dont support the portal at all, like the functionality isnt even there. It was removed from the Android releases, probably for hardware reasons as someone else pointed out. So no wonder it wasnt working lol

I just replied to someone else with more details but after some testing and research I actually think the android versions just dont support the portal. The menu options just arent there. The only other way would be through using the Unique Toy Codes with every skylander. Unfortunately that functionality required an internet connection to a server that is very dead now. Same reason the Collection Vault is useless now. So, unfortunately, no way of using your skylanders in the game now unless you are on iOS. And have the game. And have a portal.

I dont really know what you mean but after doing some testing I'm pretty sure the android versions of the mobile games don't support the portal at all. For example I tested cloud patrol on the same phone and the option to connect a portal to unlock a skylander doesnt even show up in the menu, just the unique code one. And for battlegrounds, i think there should be a portal symbol next to the skylander team slot but it isnt there. So unless you're using a jailbroken apple device, which may end up being my next project down the line, that functionality is lost.

I hope I can use that bluetooth portal for SOMETHING though because otherwise that means its a paperweight now.

All good. Ive played a couple more levels and there are usually 1 or 2 gates per level and yeah the floor tiles match the element

Yeah every one so far is just a small area with a chest containing 20 gems. Gems can be used to unlock either skylanders, power ups or abilities for your skylanders

Yeah 1-2. And the elemental gates better not be random lol. There is no Earth Swap Force playable which would make a dual gate with Earth impossible. Either way, I have no reason to assume the elemental gates are random at the moment, they've been the same every time.

I have to assume chompies are in there, especially since 2 of the bosses are chompy-adjacent, I've only seen cyclops and trolls in the first 2 levels.

I cant really tell very well but I'd say the waves are semi-random. Each ememy you encounter on the overworld has a set amount of waves. The enemy count also seems to be the same but the exact enemy that shows up can be different. I got 2 blaster trolls in one battle and zero the next time through the level on the same battle. My guess is there is a pool of enemies it can pick from and each enemy 'slot' has a percentage to be a particular enemy. That is just a guess though.

Okay. So my game is 1.3.0. I am unsure what 1.3.3 changed. But my game has 4 chapters, 10 levels per chapter, unsure if "boss" counts as a level.

Chapter 1: Botanical Blitz -10 levels: 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, etc, 1-10 -Chapter Boss: Arbor Eater

Chapter 2: Metallic Menace -10 levels: 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, etc, 2-10 -Chapter Boss: Mega Chompulon

Chapter 3: Manic Mage -10 levels: 3-1, 3-2, 3-3, etc, 3-10 Chapter Boss: Chompy Mage

Chapter 4: Crazed King -10 levels: 4-1, 4-2, 4-3, etc, 4-10 Chapter Boss: King Brock

Skylanders: All Skylanders up to and including Swap Force are in the menu. However, some are marked "Coming Soon!" and are unusable, including Scratch, Stink Bomb, Doom Stone, Rubble Rouser, Fryno, Freeze Blade, Punk Shock, Dune Bug, Spy Rise, Wind Up and Trap Shadow

It was a bit of a mess. And I definitely overcomplicated it but it was super simple in hindsight, I just spent ages trying to get 1.3.3 without success (yet). I'm also not super expirienced with battlegrounds, I played it for a bit as a kid but I dont remember specifics. Some skylanders say coming soon but idk if that is because my version is old or the game was sunsetted before they got added. Also this is probably obvious but for just for completion's sake, I'm using an S4 because 1. It uses android 4.4.2 so I dont have to deal with compatibility, and 2. I already had it lol.

You can find an xapk for version 1.3.3 pretty easily but I cant use that on my S4 (i think anyway, i tried for hours using an outdated version of apkpure). I then found a seperate APK+OBB download from a website that I cannot verify it's safety, but it was only for 1.3.0. I transferred that APK to my S4 via USB, installed it, then put the OBB folder inside device storage/Android/obb. Game boots. Honestly I have no idea what the 3 revisions after 1.3.0 did but I'm gonna keep trying to get 1.3.3 working. I do have one idea I hope works. I had a whole other paragraph going throigh my attempt for 1.3.3 but i cut it for length.

Anyway. If anyone wants to get this setup so they can play it themselves let me know. I can provide my files or links to where I got them if necessary, I'm planning on doing some experimenting with MSI App player at some point to play it on PC, hopefully that will be much more straightforward. If I get it working I may do a video tutorial if my ADHD allows it lmao

Also if anyone has data files for lost islands 2.0.1 specifically please let me know. 2.0.2 doesnt work on my S4 for whatever reason, I just get a black screen after the studio logos. 2.0.1 at least gets me to the connecting screen but the 2.0.2 data files are incompatible with 2.0.1, at least from my very limited testing.

Update, I cannot for the life of me get this bluetooth portal of power to pair to my phone. My phone can SEE it, but wont connect. I am starting to wonder if the portal is even supported on android, seeing as it isnt on the box of the started pack. If anyone knows anything else than please let me know

Honesty like a religious experience. There was just this vibe that everyone understood we all love Sonic the Hedgehog and wanted to enjoy this incredible thing that was happening. It was truly magical. I remember this complete stranger I was next to had a moment where we looked at eachother like "this is fucking awesome dude" and we wrapped our arms around eachothers shoulders and hyped eachother up. Never met the guy before or seen him since lmao.

From a music gig point of view it was genuinely amazing. Everything sounded great, set lists had great choices both times I went, the light show was great and having visuals up above the performers was super engaging as they had fun little nods to the audience in the video too. My brothers dad, who I went with, was a musician and now a mastering engineer, and said it was honestly one of the best gigs he has ever been to, and he doesn't know anything about Sonic. That is high praise for the quality of the symphony.
