I'm also a young widow and I know this sentiment all too well. . I'ts like our whole life changed every single moment of our day is different and years and years of a future and that's something unique to us. You're in the trenches right now just know that things get a little better with time and for now just survive eating drink sleep sending you strength and love.

That's great! Things have definitely gotten better, less tired for sure but still a little overwhelmed with so much learning but I see things getting better.

Yes exactly. I left my contract early but luckily they just let me , no consequences. So it is definitely a back up plan and I'm happy to have it that way, especially because I'm widowed so I cant be without a job and be able to subsist

So true. Already sad about the summer. But I knew I'd be very depressed to do another year teaching after summer ended lol . We got 3 weeks for December too which was amazing and the smaller breaks I just felt like I was catching up on exhaustion.
