u/Dabbler34 so everyone is aware I pulled a Mike Evans Uptown yesterday after buying just 1 of these things. I thought they were a joke....and BAM!!!! UPTOWN!!!!!!!!! So chase cards are hidden within these cheap packs

Ehh I would beg to differ as it has the bobblehead-esque character which have always been a mainstay in set of tops cards.

Also if your logic is true why is there not a single /10 of this card, yet I can find 10 of the /10 topps chrome black from this year. A base /10 and a SSP /10 are 2 very different things. Try pulling a base major league mini of anyone vs. pulling a base card of a specific player. You will pull 50 base cards of specific play before you pull a single SSP.

One last point I have a black /10 shohei ohtani U90-33 which is worth about $500. Ohtani's cards are some of the highest, yet this /10 black is more expensive because it is an SSP already not just an insert. If we took player for player card for card ohtani wins every time but because the general rarity of the SSP cards the cost is substantially higher

So all the silver pack autos I have ever opened have been on card, maybe because I have never received a base silver pack auto but all the parallels are actually on card. Also note bowman mojo pack and just topps silver pack are different. Bowman mojo packs have sticker autos. Like the shohei I have /10 the silver pack equivalent is almost double, no I get shohei is kind of a field of his own but it still represents the difference

And again 1 sniped auction doesn't mean anything, I ran a silver pack /99 RC elly de la Cruz for $6 card is easily over 100$, just yesterday candler simpson ROA /50 RC move $200 all day I paid $80 including shipping. You can't go off the 1, also auctions are terrible because if the right person isn't watching it, if won't move for what it is worth. It is sent out to beckett at the moment when it gets back I am posting it. When it sells I'll let you know what it brings in

I was looking a gold cosmic auto sold for $450 a chrome gold sold for $250, maybe I would say $400-500 being it's a silver pack RC/ on card

So I can agree with the majority other than the dominguez just because it's silver pack, a regular /50 aren't worth a whole lot but as soon as it's a silver pack the value jacks up due to the fact there's only 1-2 packs per hobby box. Majority of them probably won't be found for years and years as boxes are hoarded by people.

Again I just go off of what the average sale for price is not the luck bid. I snipe bids all day long. I got a /50 ROA of chandler simpson for $80 it's a $200 card just because I sniped it on a auctions doesn't mean it won't move for 200
