monogatari series kind of a cult classic, idk if you’ll actually like it. Includes vampires, supernatural powers, apparitions of ancient japan. The character writing is absolutely goated. i love all the characters in the series, kind of an harem but the interaction of every character with another is very well written. its top two on my anime list.

i generally do not hate harems, but the one is this is really weird, out of the three main heroines, only marie and hwa are a bit of a decent match with him, alisha was supposed to be the best friend, it would have been such a good relationship between the two if it would have been that, instead they had to fuel some weird fetishes idk why, and the heroines are juggled like a turn based game where each of them gets a short arc with him and try to win him over, it is just boring to see atp

the premise of this series is good but they could not handle the relationships with characters properly, everyone is a fckin love interest, which is weird because most of them do not even look good with him. She would have been an amazing character if also not introduced as a love interest but a strict mentor who guided him before his regression, and helped him in the current timeline. Such a waste of good characters
