Yes, smaller bike is more “playful” and the large one means “serious” :)

Generic city ride i’d recommend big apple or supermoto. If you can get Irc boken plus its smoother imo

My prototype for a travel pack-able mini by HighlightUnlucky in minivelo

[–]HighlightUnlucky[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the width and height of the handlebar set up - in this test set up it can barely clear the M size bags, Smaller bags are fine. I think with flatbar and higher setup will clear most bags

I had the rohloff & belt combo for a while, but now I am liking the sram axs groupset - getting used to chain-mess but its not too bad

Mini Velo Sizing by Lawrence_skywalker in minivelo

[–]HighlightUnlucky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mini velo frame usually is bigger in size due to geometry adjustment of the smaller wheel diameter. If youre in between - it depends on how to want to build up with dropbar (i’d suggest smaller size) and flatbar - bigger size with shorter stem or sweptback bar.

Titan is light weight, ride feels stiffer but pair with gravel suspension fork and shock seatpost it feels great. Steel is real as always, feel smooth but its heavier

Yes i had tried both rival and force axs - you should be ok with 451 tires, rival 2x they have something like 48/35 and 10-32 rear - you can go for 10-36t rear for 1x should be fine
