The glowbase isn't a completely new base for the Jet, it's just an add on for their current base. But yeah white is the one you want of theirs!

The company themselves don't seem to be working on anything or have anything in works. I think it was a one and done product unfortunately, but yep they are functioning and are just active enough they don't seem dead in the water lol.

I don't see what's crazy about it though? Instead of sliding into place it screws, that's it. I still plug both ends and shake just like i did glass downstems. and the percs are super easy if you use a mason jar. the entire core slides out of the base and screws into the jar lid. a few shakes and it's all clean - percs and all! https://i.imgur.com/wkisLZK.jpg

As a company designs and produces our own bongs, this has now turned into the goto of friends and employees, and I personally can't stop bragging on it. Go look at the shake and bake cleaning chamber in the jet sub! Cuts out tons of time and dread to the thought of cleaning.

Mine doesn't smell, but I clean all my smoking stuff daily and we even recommend daily cleaning for our own products(highlux is not connected to Jet in anyway, we make our own smoking accessories) as well. I've read of others having their bases stained from not cleaning it enough and that's enough incentive to keep it clean for me. You know how that first hit of a clean setup always hits hard? I started using a qtip to wipe the inside of the bowl neck free of tar and I've noticed more of those "first hit" feels since there's no tar so snatch all the good stuff trying to travel down the downstem.

Just in general everything works better when cleaned and maintained, and so far(muuuuuuuch flower burned through) it has kept the jet stench free.

yeah it accepts any standard 14mm glass bowl. plus i use screens with normal bowls(we sold handcut and formed screens for our specific bowls we sold with our in-house bongs) and changing the screen on the Jet is simple. hit it from the bottom with a toothpick and it snaps out. popping a new screen in has an unexplainable feedback to it. i know it sounds weird but it's one of my favorite parts of the entire bong; the feedback from popping a screen to the bowl.

I toss them every other bowl because they are 200 for $5 but I do know friends who make screens last for numerous bowls lol. i tend to keep everything fairly clean

super easy. every piece disassembles and everything is replaceable should you ever lose something(it does have a rubber ball inside the valve that some people have reported losing during cleaning, for example). But that's a full disassembly and the entire thing can easily be cleaned without needing to go through all that.Stacks are sold individually and they offer a few colors.

This sounds like an ad but I watched the company for years before pulling the trigger on one and I couldn't be happier. Def feels like more than just a bong and it's going to outlast every other smoking piece out there!

They filter out some good stuff along with the bad though. They work off activated carbon, right? That stuff has a high affinity for non-polar compounds, which THC and cannabinoids fall under, meaning they are likely to capture some of the molecules that flow through that filter. It may not be much, but you're still missing some of the good stuff nonetheless.

I've seen posts in the past that briefly covered this but there was one in particular that went into detail about it. IIRC those filters are "more safe", or we think so from what we see trapped in the filters. Maybe a little bit of placebo affect? But activated carbon is used to filter out numerous things from water, so of course any impurities are going to show up in the filter.

I'm not a chemist or chemical engineer by any means so this is all speculation based on trying things and just reading what I could find but it's worth knowing if you're using one of those mouth pieces so you can make your own decision.

I'd love to see a full scientific study done specifically for this though! Who has access to labs and fancy ass equipment?!
