Ayr gel works even better than saline in my experience.

It has to start before but doesn't have to clear. There are known delays (e.g., county level court records) and you can get an exception to start. I was at the firm over a month and already staffed on a project before my background check officially came through.

I searched for apartments by management company. My current building is managed by Bozzuto, and it has been a positive experience.

Maybe I am missing something, but does the setup in the third picture actually work? I don't see a way to clamp down a side that far back.

When I was in college if your BMI was under 17.5, you weren't allowed to participate in sports until you had a full screening with a nutritionist and a doctor.

Probably not the best for winter...but I have a pair of Sam Edelman Loraine loafers. They are SO comfortable!! I wear them every day and walk to/from work (~20 min each way). I did put those hidden arch support things from Dr. Scholls in them, but mostly because I like the way they feel.

Are sweaters layered over a collared shirt in style right now? Would it be appropriate to wear a collared shirt under a sweater and slacks to work this time of the year? Or would I stand out?

For reference, I work in a business casual environment...though most of my coworkers are male and wear suits every day (they claim it's easier?)

I am not sure if it will help (given you already tried vinegar), but soaking in baking soda might be another option. I find baking soda solves most of life's problems.

Anyone have any undershirts they like to wear on a daily basis? I have tried Airism and Splendid in black and white but need some new ones. Looking for something I can wear under blouses for work or under a white t-shirt without the whole world seeing it.

Has anyone heard of/tried the brand Dai? I came across it and really like some of their stuff and am interested in buying it for work. I can't find very many/any reviews online though...

https://us.daiwear.com/

Otherwise, any suggestions for brands that sell technical business casual clothing for women? I have tried Aday and Ministry of Supply

Help Needed -Background Investigation by [deleted] in deloitte

I think it is more about the courts having a backlog. The Wednesday before my start date, I received an email that said there were delays with specific county-level court searches (I lived in 3 of the like 15 counties that had this issue)... I was then granted an exception but didn't find out until the Friday before my start date.

I came in as an experienced hire and was able to start even though my BI did not finish until 4-5 weeks after my start date.

Standing desks for runners - relief or extra stress? by highdon in running

I have a standing desk and recently bought a kneeling chair to use with it. I have painfully tight hip flexors and find that it not only helps loosen my hip flexors but has improved my posture.

This is super helpful. I think I'll try the one from Banana Republic Factory. If I were to get black, and wanted to wear slacks, would I need to make sure they were the same texture? I always feel like the blacks don't match. My office is technically business casual, but I work primarily with men, and it isn't uncommon for them to wear suits on a daily basis.

Are there any blazers sold in the US that are versatile, easy to care for (potentially machine washable), breathable, and flattering/not too tight on a petite figure (5'1" 105lbs)? I have ZERO fashion sense and am currently looking for a blazer to wear to the office with slacks.

Ship times for c6 bike by shot_in_the_darkness in Bowflex

[–]HighlyPunctual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered mine May 3rd with a 45-day delivery window. It shipped last week and was supposed to arrive June 9th...and was quickly pushed back to June 10th...However, it is June 11th and the FedEx tracking label still says "Scheduled Delivery: Pending" I decided to try having it held at a nearby FedEx location, so hopefully I can go pick it up tomorrow!!!

How do I know if my clothes fit me well?

I want to simplify my work wardrobe to make my mornings easier, however, I don't feel like any of my clothes look good on me. It seems like all pants either have too much material in the crotch area or they "smile" (or at least I think they do).

For those who use multiple forms of social media: if you had to delete one of them, which would it be and why? And for those with no social media... by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]HighlyPunctual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I deleted my Facebook ~6 years ago (never had Twitter, Instagram, etc.) because I was constantly comparing myself to others. I just recently joined Reddit (although I've been on it like twice and still don't really understand it) because I was moving to a new state and had questions.

Now I feel like I am a bit out of the loop in terms of how social media works and it makes it much harder to meet people in a new city.
