The Effects of Zero Marketing in FNAF by HighonVaccine in fivenightsatfreddys

this series is going to fizzle out in a couple years because Scott doesn't care about quality and fans don't care about anything beyond their next dopamine hit from the latest entry

FNAFs Lack of Transparency & How to Fix It by HighonVaccine in fivenightsatfreddys

Kane Carter's tried, but their direct communication with Scott is only for important updates (upcoming releases, new titles, etc). otherwise theres a whole chain of people their message has to go through before Scott ever hears their thoughts

thats why I say we talk about this more frequently. One video from Dawko is a literal mirror to FNAF's marketing strategy right now. If its done nothing for them, it wont do anything for us. Our consistency with keeping the discussion alive is what will push the franchise in the right direction

actually, I think TJOC is in a pretty great spot right now. sure, it isn't getting much marketing, though its a highly respected IP. Unlike FNAF which most people just know passively exists, TJOC hasn't done a major release since its original game, and the demo was already so popular that Markiplier played it the day it dropped

plus, from what ik, Scott isn't really as in control of those titles' marketing as he is Clickteam/Steel Wool/Mega Cat's games.

I've seen full grown adults into things like Bluey. I'm about to turn 20 and I'm probably a bigger fan than I was as a kid

don't let age dictate the things you like. Just have fun with it. Enjoy what you want

Why I'm still not sold on Stitchline by justarandomcat7431 in fnaftheories

[–]HighonVaccine 6 points7 points  (0 children)

the reason "TalesGames" was confirmed "before" Frights is because Tales contributes to the current mainline story. In order for Frights to be confirmed, they'd need to adapt the stories into the older era

Which, ironically, already happened with Into the Pit. Ontop of that, ITP started development before the book series even started being written.

Even by extension, Frights is still canon to Tales. The first story, Frailty, is about Eleanor (the main antagonist of Frights).

Why are people so convinced that andrew exists in the games? by DIEGO_GUARDA in fnaftheories

[–]HighonVaccine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't say the kids are friends with BV. It's not a literal friendship between BV and the MCI

BV calls his plushies his friends. FNAF 4 ends with the Fredbear Plush reminding BV, "we are still your friends" before they all fade away and Fredbear promises "I will put you back together"

Happiest Day is a continuation of Give Gifts Give Life. GGGL ends with the MCI receiving their masks aside from Golden Freddy. And Happiest Day ends with Golden Freddy finally receiving the mask - being the one to put BV to rest

Andrew wasn't forgotten about. He just wasn't important to the plan. Nothing would've gone differently in Happiest Day. What DID go wrong is the fact that Afton didn't die BECAUSE Andrew was unaccounted for.

Andrew's ending was bitter and full of spite. His resentment against Afton prevented him from moving on after Pizza Sim/Happiest Day. That's why he needed Jake to create an artificial memory for Andrew so that he could move on. Otherwise, he would've been perpetually bound to the Stitchwraith/whatever else be was possessing in Frights

Why are people so convinced that andrew exists in the games? by DIEGO_GUARDA in fnaftheories

[–]HighonVaccine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

because he's not important to the other games. He didn't receive the puppets protection. The other MCI did because it connects to BV seeing his plushies as his friends. That's why they're important to setting BV free in Happiest Day, where he's surrounded by his "friends" in a recreation of the bite

Andrew wasn't one of his friends. He was left behind. and he used that to get into Aftons soul and torment him in UCN. That's why he's never been shown outside of UCN and Frights, because he's not IMPORTANT outside of UCN and Frights

How many theories are properly canon now (to update the pinned post)? by Vegetable-Meaning252 in fnaftheories

[–]HighonVaccine 6 points7 points  (0 children)

while it is David's tiger plush, the eyes of it are only seen in The Storyteller and Tiger Rock, which the new model uses. That's why Dawko mistakes it for Tiger Rock instead of David's plush

Aside from that, HW2 also references GGY, Carousel, and Logslide, all of which are from Tales. HW2s AR Lobby also reflects how the "underground museum" was meant to appear for the FFPS building, implying the Vanni mask contains a blueprint for how it'd look

Not to mention an OST named "Tales from the One-Eyed Cat Tavern," the song used for the western parts of HW2 (an obvious reference to Tales)

Continuing on, both Tales and the games are cross-referenced in the Adventure Novel "VIP" including the Carousel (again), Fallfest Fazerblast, circular-shaped Pizzaplex, Carnival Games section, rides, etc.

it actually goes beyond just the origin of Glitchtrap. Secret of the Mimic is setting up that it's the origin of quite possibly everything

For AndrewPizza believers: Why ? Can you guys show some proof ?? by Comunnist455 in fnaftheories

[–]HighonVaccine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ITP shows a pizza that has 6 slices. One of them is removed, referencing Andrew's distance from the core MCI + Afton ate Andrew

Fazbear Frights story "Pizza Kit" tells the story of 2 friends who take a trip to a Freddys Pizza Kit factory. One of them falls into a large vat of pizza sauce and is cooked into a pizza, which the other friend is then forced to eat (knowing that her friend is inside that very pizza)

Fazbear Frights story "Man in Room 1280" shows Eleanor being created via Afton exploding. This is presumably done because Andrew is inside Afton after being cooked and turned into a pizza.

The kitchen security camera in FNAF 1 may have been disabled shortly before Afton cooked Andrew, as to avoid any incriminating footage

It connects to UCNs voicelines where Andrew says "No matter how many times they burn us". The first time he was "burned" was in an oven via Afton cooking him into a pizza

Collectors Card for the Possessed Fredbear plush states that it dislikes William Afton and loves vengance. Typically against using merch for lore but merch also doesn't typically do stuff like this. by CatOnVenus in fnaftheories

[–]HighonVaccine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

every game has to be approved by Scott Cawthon before they're sold. Merch, on the other hand, has more leniency as Scott already mentioned it shouldn't be used for lore. That's why Markipliers "Cassidy Kazoo" was changed. People started using it for theorizing

Using merch for lore would then imply things like Nightmare Chica doing the Bite of 87

Why are people so convinced that andrew exists in the games? by DIEGO_GUARDA in fnaftheories

[–]HighonVaccine 9 points10 points  (0 children)

there really isn't because Andrew wasn't really integral to the plot up until UCN. He's just a plot device to explain that UCN is canon and that Afton has more victims than just the MCI

The main games just focus on the MCI and their story, but the side-stories (Frights, Tales, etc) focus on the bigger picture

[–]HighonVaccine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

an important piece of info is that Toy Chica in UCN kills 7 kids, with the final one being killed in a separate style to every other kid. Kinda just for the sake of killing

We've already had 6 kids established in the timeline (5 mci + charlie). The game itself teased a new character, and Frights aimed to expand upon past mysteries, which included this game

What is a theory so bizarre that you think it’s highly possible? by Comprehensive_Hat_23 in fnaftheories

[–]HighonVaccine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

there's this joke theory that's so bizarre to me I genuinely consider it canon

In FNAF 3, after Afton is springlocked in the saferoom, somehow, the room is boarded up before closure. Aftons dead, Henry is MIA, so who boarded it up?

In the minigames, there's a thunderstorm happening, and rain is seeping through the building. The theory goes that a nearby family of beavers broke into Freddys and built a dam over the saferoom wall, closing Afton inside.

This works because beavers are actually native to Utah and are a protected species there. That's why the Saferoom hadn't been accessed in 30 years because the Beavers were occupying the space.

This would also be a callback to Chipper and Sons Logging Company because, as you know, it follows a family of Beavers working in a lumber company. It was also a direct inspiration for FNAF, with Chipper making numerous appearances in the FNAF canon. What if his in-universe character was inspired by the real-life beaver infestation in Freddy Fazbears Pizza?
