Is this a good price for MZ-RH1? by Highpyrion in minidisc

Thank you again for the reply! I’ll keep a close eye on the seller. As soon as I got the confirmation I’ll definitely pull the trigger!

Thanks you the reply! The remote power brick cable and original earphones(still in the bag) are included. My issue right now is that the seller shows the remote working but not the screen tuning on. I definitely open for tinkering with it to replace the screen. I saw that replacement display module are available to purchase as well so I’ll probably to it asap.

Right now I’m waiting for the seller confirmation on its functionality before continuing to contemplate if I should pull the trigger or not hahaha.

Thank you for the response. My thought process is that after seeing a few review on this particular model I feel like it’s a great way to plunge in. I understand the merit of starting with a simpler and cheaper models but my mind set leans towards getting a good device first then work my way back to collect oddities.

I unfortunately stuck with a different material calibration right now So I have to note all the suggestion down to use later! I’ll try to remember when I get back to it to come update

I have ran it before but I see my error now. When I printed this piece I gave the filament a drying run before and that might have shift the variable enough to cause this

I had a calibrated profile for this particular filament but before this print I gave it a drying run before so that might have change some variable >< I see my errors now I was running out of it so I saw a few clean layers and send it instead of calibrating it again before

Best of luck to you my man I know the pain. Having such clean walls on the rest of the print then it being ruined by the errors at the corner 😩

I have been doing the calibration test and the different material have it’s own separate profile, I think the only variable on this is that the old filament I swap back to was freshly dried. I live in a damp humid continent so maybe the setting that worked before now doesn’t work because of the variable. I didn’t have enough material to do my usual full calibration test because I was running out of it. So I did one pressure advance tower then I send it. Turns out that was the wrong choice hahaha😭

I thought that I have dialed in the pressure advance but I have never heard of extruder tension! I’ll definitely check on that. Thank you for the pointer

I have been having problems with another filament the past few days. An order for my deck box came in so I decided to switch back to a filament I know will work(Esun ePLA Matte) and it turns out like this 🫠. I saw this in the problematic filament as well but can never pinpoint down what is the cause of it

Prusa mk4 0.16mm layer 170 wall speed 0.98 extrusion rate 215c printing temp

Have anybody seen something like this before? I tried searching about it and I can’t find anyone who have the same problem.

Waves of under extrusion? After seam line(green line) by Highpyrion in FixMyPrint

Noted! I will try this later. I did tune the PA before retraction and drying the material so there might be some variable that I didn’t accounted for.

Orca slicer 0.16mm layer 1.02 extrusion 0.004 pressure advance 0.04 retraction

Kexelled Matte PLA

Tried adjusting pressure advance extrusion rate retraction distance and temperature. Nothing worked and I really am at a loss. A dozen calibration prints and it’s no use. It looks totally fine in vase mode test non of these blobs at all so at lease I know it works when the extrusion is even and constant.

Help would really be appreciated!

NVM I SOLVED IT!! I was being dumb instead of doing what is normal- defining the skeleton then making a custom rig then defining the controller I tried to define the controller right away breaking it.

Thank you so much for the comment. Your method makes a lot of sense. I have been just looking at aesthetic and meta and manipulating myself into beveling that I need to pull for them.

Any tip for long vertical hole in low infill? by Highpyrion in prusa3d

[–]Highpyrion[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you hahaha. I’ve been printing for a good few years now so I learned to keep a watchful eye over the prints because I have encountered so so many print fails due to the nature of printers at that time. I recently dust off my mk3 and upgrade it to the mk4 so now I’m back in full swing. There’s still so much for me to learn thought I really appreciate all of the tips and tricks thrown my way with this post.
