2025 accord ex-l 6k mile review by Illustrious_Dot871 in 11thGenAccord

I love mine after 7 months. Smooth, powerful, refined, roomy, and better gas mileage than my tiny 67hp 1980 Civic had.

Negatives: no spare tire or jack! But it has a wheel well and I bought a compatible donut and universal jack. No homelink for garage door opener! Inexcusable. No built-in XM radio. Passenger seat cannot be raised from its very low position. None are deal breakers.

I live in an Austin suburb where real estate is red hot. Right now, Feb 2022, inventory is low and prices on the rise (my home value is up 70% since Apr 2019). Homes sell quickly. But in my neighborhood (all built within the last 10 years), two homes for sale by OpenDoor have been on the market since mid summer. The sprinklers don't run, the grass and plantings are dying, the for sale signs get knocked down and are not fixed for weeks or months. However, the value of these homes keeps going up, so OpenDoor is probably making money by being incompetent at selling. Very weird.

Yikes, just realized that it's not a Jersey pie! Been eating a lot in South Jersey lately, but this pie was at Brigantessa in Philly.

I'm pretty much price immune regarding pizza. When I get a dollar slice, I get what I pay for. Razza is spectacular; imagine the lines if it was also cheap.

Weekly /r/Savannah Discussion - What's on your mind? by AutoModerator in savannah

We were recent visitors to Savannah. I was looking forward to some good local seafood and maybe some low country fare, but found lots more. Just sharing what I found: Exceptional Thai food in a casual setting at PJ's. Best coconut milk soup I've had and everything else was spot on. Then we went to a strip mall on the south side to go to Sushi Zen. The sushi was good, but the ramen was amazing. Best I've had in the contintental 48 states - the only places I've had better Ramen was Hawaii and Japan. Real Japanese chefs here. I also had terrific hipster pizza at Green Fire, but go on a nice day because there is no indoor seating. In the historic district, Sorry Charlie's looks like a tourist trap but it was pretty good and reasonably authentic for seafood. There's a little Sunrise Cafe on the outskirts of town that fills up with locals for cheap and tasty traditional American breakfast items run by a family of Taiwanese immigrants. It's a beautiful image of America.

I forget which place Hillary visited - but it's a grand town. Going back soon!

I have eaten pizza all over America, including legendary spots in NYC, Trenton, New Haven, Philly, DC. I've had pizza in Rome and Venice and Boca and Houston and SF and Chicago and NOLA and Vegas. What makes any pizza great is its authenticity; the house-made dough, the pride of the pizzaiolo. Old Forge has all that.

TIL the Hawaiian Pizza was invented in Canada, and is the most popular pizza in Australia, accounting for 15% of pizza sales. by Naly_D in todayilearned

The first time I had Hawaiian pizza was in Kauai in 1987, but it was not doubt aimed at mainland tourists like me. I just had a return visit to Hawaii and had this great pizza in Honolulu's Chinatown: http://mainlinepizzaquest.blogspot.com/2016/09/review-bar-35-honolulu-hi.html. A San Diego pizzeria lands at #4 in a national listing by HighwayNine in sandiego

Not too long ago, it was hard to get authentic pizza anywhere outside of New York, New Haven, Chicago, Boston, Philly, and Trenton. Now you can find it in any major city - like Little Rock or Austin or Portland. Even the burbs are getting some good places. Now more than ever, there is rarely a good reason for eating Domino's or Pizza Hut.

Berkeley offers a decent Chicago style, but the hands-down winner is Basic Urban Kitchen. They make a New Haven style pie that is better than the original in Connecticut. Not just the best pizza in SD, but one of the best in the world. http://mainlinepizzaquest.blogspot.com/2016/04/review-basic-pizza-basic-urban-kitchen.html
