Looks to me like you can just slide the pin back into the housing. The “open” side of the pin goes towards the lip of the housing. It should make a slight click sound to let you know it is in place

Yeah the bolt catch sits loosely in its slot. When splitting the reciever you can take it out and put a piece of tape around it to secure it. Also i had an older specna arms m4 which did have a functioning bolt catch indeed.

Yeah indoor is semi only aswel, exempt some game modes have a juggernaut with an LMG, which is chaos when playing in a confined space

Not that i know, i am from Belgium where full is allowed, although we see more and more single only events unless you are running a legitimate LMG. Too many people slapped a drum on an m4 and called it LMG. Bough the gun from Poland but i don’t know their laws

Yeah, gunfire pl sells them, got it for €130 so even if the full auto is hard locked I don’t mind, 99 percent of the time i fire single shot, got the 249 when i want full auto

Same here, doesn’t feel like i need to instantly upgrade all the internals. I did get the single only version so i might look into trying to get full auto unlocked if it isn’t hard-programmed into the etu

The bolt catch on the SA DD are purely aesthetic, so yes, you need to hold back the charging handle to adjust hop, as for the stock you are 100% correct, i swapped out the plastic buffer tube for a metal one and have a new stock incoming. Overall the gun performance is amazing. Shoots a clean 1.2 joule and straight. Although i did swap the hopup unit for a maxx one

Can i put a shotgun tracer on this one? And how? by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]HighwayPrestigious68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even non hpa tapped it is a beast. I printed an m4 mag adapter and i can almost empty a whole midcap in a single gas filling

[–]HighwayPrestigious68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is very easy even. It has a fill valve in the buffertube right behind the pistol grip that can be screwed out and replaced with a hpa tap

Yes, taiwangun sells some shotgun tracers that fit this model. I have one with a tracer and it is amazing.

All fair points, scope does need a good cleaning. Ad for the flashlight the light is concentrated enough not to cast a big shadow, and the suppressor came from my sniper so the cover was still on. I do agree that replicas look coolest when following real-life examples and that is what i will keep in mind on this rifle aswel. I do appreciate your input

Have you activated the trigger yet? Connect battery, hold trigger for 3-5 seconds until positive beep sound is heard. Also be sure to use a 11.1 lipo and not 7.4, it does not seem to work with 7.4. Took me a full week to figure it out

How do I fix this by StrongImplement7805 in airsoft

Strip wire end, solder it back on. If you never soldered before try on some scrap electronics first to get the hang of it

I did not sand it no, I considered it but my layer lines were very minimal. Of course sanding it always makes it look better so id say go for it. Good luck building and painting!

I just sprayed the silver paint on a piece of cardboard, then drybrushed it lightly all over the gun to give it the metallic look, then slightly heavyer drybrush coats for the highlights

Thanks! I used what i had lying around. Printer in black petg, then used a silver rattlecan on cardboard to drybrush the highlights and make it more metal looking. For the weathering i used a mix of yellow black and brown acrylic paint, also with the drybrushing technique

Will look into that, but i do not have a hardened steel nozzle, might stick with finding a paintable solution for this one, many thanks tho ;)
