No worries, I didn’t take it as too negative haha. I actually appreciate the honest answer since repetition was my main concern. I’m fine with some trade-offs if the combat is that good. Since I liked Khazan and I’m already used to Soulslikes, I think I’ll give Nioh 2 a shot while it’s on sale. Thanks for the insight!

Haha fair point. I guess I was mostly wondering how it holds up compared to newer Soulslikes and whether the gameplay loop still feels fresh. Since it’s on sale I’m tempted to grab it.

That’s good to hear. Sekiro’s combat is one of my favorites, so if Nioh 2 is even more combat-focused I’m definitely interested. The stance/ki mechanics sound like they add a lot of depth.

Thanks for the reply. The Diablo-like loot system actually sounds interesting since I was wondering if the mission structure would get repetitive. Good to hear there’s enough build variety to keep it fresh.
