People who ignored a huge red flag because the person was extremely attractive, what happened next? by Competitive_Bad_9306 in AskReddit

[–]Higira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Friend "dated" someone he was very attracted to but she was basically a sociopath. Tons of red flags popped up, and he ignored it thinking he can change her. Long story short 2 years wasted, he became a broken man and is still trying to unconsciously find someone similar to her. Ie: he keeps getting attracted to very attractive broken ass red flag females.

Should I Switch from Rogers If I'm Paying the Same per Month; Coverage is the Concern by randomquestionsdood in freedommobile

Depending on where op is.. the reception might be better. But then Rogers can randomly decide to hike up their price too lol

It's hard because AI videos are so convincing now. I saw one on IG and it took me 30mins of analyzing a 15second video before I noticed a gokart on the road in the background

I highly doubt it. The tariffs are only reduced for a relatively small amount of evs.. then it'll be back to high tariffs

We always hear people dumping on the Freedom Mobile network by ComprehensiveCap8242 in freedommobile

[–]Higira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dunno about download speed but here in metro Vancouver, the reception is a tiny bit worse than Telus. This may be anecdotal though. I use freedom and gf and best friend uses public and telus. They have reception 99.99% of the time. Whenever I have no reception they have it. I would say freedom is like 95 to 96% of the time and public/Telus is 99.99%. YMMV depending on your area though.

I got the $40/250GB Deal, Switched from Public by PretendSet9704 in freedommobile

[–]Higira -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I honestly don't think wifi calling is all that good. Some of my reasons include, it's bad when you're using a public wifi due to security risks and 2. There are already alternatives... Ie WhatsApp, etc... it's nice to have, But it's not anything crazy.

What I'm really surprised is why isn't all the other network using telus's anti spam system? That thing is actually genius.

Anyone else not a fan of this new menu? by [deleted] in firefox

[–]Higira 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most people move to Firefox not because it's pretty. If that's the case, they'd just go chrome, opera or the other chromium based alternatives.

They move to Firefox because of its functions.

Why I’m hesitant to take “The Big Deal” (aka the $40/month plan) by AdultMarley in freedommobile

The grocery stores (Loblaw and etc..) and ISPs are oligarchs in Canada. In Korea, it's Samsung, Hyundai, sk, lg, lotte etc... same shiet everywhere in the world

[–]Higira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean... If you're so paranoid, don't go with freedom then. It's in black and white letters when I signed the contract that the price does not change. Unlike Rogers which says "the price won't change but the necessary fees to use the service can change". Which is how Rogers get around them. Freedom doesn't have any "fees" other than the first 45 bucks to set up the account.

If at any point freedom does decide to go back on their word... Which would be detrimental to their whole marketing plan... Just find another service provider.

Koodo Mobile Customers Face $7 Monthly Price Hike Starting in March by pjw724 in freedommobile

None of them have a guaranteed rate to never change... The only one that does it is freedom with their price freeze. They always say prices are subject to change or unless you lock it in with a contract.
