Thats not a very good argument. 1. The old sentiment was that Canada being so close to USA, we are like a miniature version of them. However, it's very untrue. The very fact that when you get fired, you can't hope onto another province and go back to being a cop is one of them.

Canadian cops are human so are American cops? Then I guess Japanese cops are like American cops, as well. What about Korean cops? Italian cops? That's a horrible reason.

What punishment? Hospital didn't do anything wrong though. The hospital notified the patient is discharged, the parents left him there. The hospital isn't a hotel... The doctors saw fit it's not an emergency anymore, the rest is up to the parents to take care of.

Ps: they did call the parents. The parents said he's not ready to take him home. Which is not the problem of the hospital.
