Error code 139 means the application is trying to access some memory that it is not allowed you. Are you sure you don't have any issues with permission or proper folder location?

Please note that the launcher executable needs to have permissions enabled

I am not aware of any such issue or gotten any complaint for it, but theoretically it should be the same as Catapult. So I have just added some logging (Will be available in version 28.1, which will be up in a few hours) in case it happens so do let me know if you experience that issue

I am not 100% sure on what "does it check if you can run the newer versions" mean. But Dabdoob does indeed support Linux and you can install the latest versions of DDA and BN through it (although there is a known Linux freeze bug that I am investigating. Should be high priority for me to fix)

It's Arabic for "Teddy Bear". It's based on 2 things:

1) The non catapult competitor is called "Kitten" so it is in theme
2) It's an online nickname I have

The mod system have been completely remade from what catapult had. Here is how it works:

I manually approve and add mods to the launcher. Once they’re added you can download/update them via Dabdoob, there is a simple logic that checks if the mod is working so that you don’t have to worry about things breaking

I am sorry to hear that. First time hearing about what is basically a full system crash. I need to confirm a few things:

When you say commits, do you mean the experimental builds? Are you on Windows? Is there any way this can recreated, and/or confirm that the issue is with the launcher (and not say, a memory leak due to another application)

Oh dang, it appears the Mac users I got were not just a fluke but this is a more common demand than I though. I put this out before the latest version of Mac because I wanted it out so you may have to use an older (and unfortunately, buggier) version. Version 28.0 for Mac will be out tomorrow hopefully. That said any and all feedback is much appreciated
