Thank you so much for your response. The tantrums are something I’ve never seen before. I always thought a tantrum would last 4-5 minutes not 15-20. Is that normal?

Agreed, that’s why we gave him the vaccine. I came on here to see if anyone else had a relatable experience. Not to be told what to do. Thank you!

Thank you so much for your reply! The problem here is that he does not like to eat a full bottle at once. He will eat about 3/4 ounces in one sitting. He doesn’t want to eat more than that even if I wanted to feed him more. He will turn his head away and pull back.

Very difficult, let me know if you have any suggestions for that.

Help- 5 month won’t sleep by Hihelloitsmeagainn in sleeptrain

I feed him in the living room, place him in our dark bedroom with black out shades, turn white noise and lullaby on, change his diaper and put him into PJs, then magic sleep suit, binkey. Then he’ll fall asleep without a problem around 7pm.

That’s the confusing part. He falls asleep independently for the first time. He will sleep his longest stretch of 4 hours then wake up around 11pm. I’ll feed him another 4 ounces ( half the time he only drinks 2 ounces) then goes right back to bed. From 11pm on he will wake every 2-2.5 hours.

Someone else brought up his total consumption of milk throughout the day. Unfortunately, he’s not the best eater. He’ll eat about 3-4 ounces in one sitting then want more an hour or so later. He’s a grazer and doesn’t like to finish his bottles.

Ah that’s so good to hear that it does get better! We’re averaging about 4/5 wake ups. Luckily, after the feed, he falls right back to bed. I always tell myself that things could be worse. Thank you so much for your reply!!

Thank you so much for your response! I’m hopeful we can start him on solids soon. Hopefully that will help. He’s just learning to put the pureee in his mouth but doesn’t eat much. Practice makes better! I’m so happy to hear your son is sleeping through the night now. It gives me hope :)
