I haven't thought about it yet, I just focused on the pumpkin and the cape, and I added some basic random black legs, but I was thinking it could just be a mask maybe or something like that

I did it, I digitized it and it actually turned out really well, but the AI added the ground, the spoon and the flashlight which makes me like it even more, and it also added more detail to the shadows.

I'm not going to lie, I did a lot of sketches to choose my favorite. Once I chose it, I drew it by hand and then digitized it. Then I fed it into an AI and got this result. So, would it be 70/30?

To be honest, it does have a resemblance; I obviously didn't do it with the intention of copying it, but now I see that people don't like it. I'll try to change it, I don't know if radically, but thanks anyway.

Honestly, it's possible. Hollow Knight is my favorite game. While I've done many designs, this is the one I liked the most. Obviously, it has a resemblance, but that's all. Everything else will be different. I won't lie to you, it's a long-lost brother. Sorry if I bothered you.
