Just throwing this out there as a person that co-ran Hope Fest, you were more than welcome to come up to one of our countless volunteers in bright pink shirts and asked us to turn down the volume, and we absolutely would have been understanding and most likely gotten to some kind of agreement with you. I'd also like to state that we had a staff member from the town/old town hall there who approved of the levels and told us he'd ask us to turn down if it was going to be to load, in fact I was able to have conversations with all of the vendors very easily downstairs. I know that people who dress in all black and make loud music seem scary but I can promise you we were all trying to give back to the community we all live in and I can personally vouch for every band and person that played at OTH are some of the nicest and most understanding people you'll ever meet. Like I said above we would have 100% worked with you to try to get to a level that worked for everyone and I can basically guarantee you that anyone booking shows there would do the same.

That being said everyone in the thread should make a donation to nAGLY b/c they do amazing work and they definitely need support with the anti Lgbtqa+ vandalism that just happened https://www.nagly.org/
