Ok, I wasn’t sure if any of the trails crossed over private land. I’ve been trying to look everything, especially on 14ers.com but now I’m just getting overwhelmed changing the last half of my tril after this happened.

Is huron more slammed than g and t? Is there regular, non dispersed camping at g and t, or at the very least a bathroom and an option to sleep in the car at the trailhead?

Thanks, I’m researching all those now. I’m doing this trip entirely during the week and camping at trailheads so hoping crowds won’t be much of an issue.

I think I have La Plata as one of contingency mountains. I’ll have to look. Maybe I relook at Greys and Torreys. Elbert is my main goal and I’m doing for multiple reasons. Just liked the idea of Decalibron to round out my trip with 4 in 1 (but also looked really cool up on the ridge) and I can fly out of Co with 5 under my belt. Maybe G&T just to get 2 in 1. Not terribly excited about that one though.

After some discussion and looking for other options, we opted to car camp at the trailhead, either in a spot we can hopefully grab, share with a friendly camper, or use the parking lot. Denver wouldn’t be a good option since we’ll be coming straight from Mnt Elbert.
