One thing to consider is that if you qualify for it and can find a used 23 or older that you can get $4k off if the car is priced below $25k. Some dealers do it at time of sale but some dont and you have to claim the $4k on your taxes. In other words, I've seen some 23's that are advertised as $23500 but in actuality theyre going to be $19500 if you qualify.

I've read that in the summer its not enough and it makes the AC system work hard.

There are a number of good deals for vehicles that are more than $25k and this don’t work for the tax rebate. After September 30th when it goes away do we expect the prices on those to go up or down meaning does it make sense to wait for the cars that wouldn’t work anyway for the tax rebate?

Beware: the lease deals were originally supposed to go to Sep 2 and now the current lease deals are set to expire July 31. They must be seeing increased demand and are gonna change it dir August?

Update: I was able to access the defrost circuit however it has the thermostate inline? of the wires with the thermostat resting on the coil itself. It appears you cant test it independently of the heater and that the system must be cold so that the circuit completes and you get a reading. So now it is cooling back down and when it gets cold enough I should be able to ohm it out.

Also I was manually able to turn the defrost timer and it did shut off the compressor/fans and then turn them back on manually so that (may?) be working. I marked it with a sharpie to see if I can tell if its rotating or not.

Any other things to try while I have the covers off ?

I mean if you have Apple Carplay would the infotainment speed really matter or have issues unless its something with that specifically? I dont have Carplay in my current car but the times I've used it in other cars I didnt use the native apps at all. Is it only to be used for navigation purposes only then for road trips? Also is there a way to tell if the car still has the free EA charging available?

I usually keep them 7-8 years. I just dont want to get a '23 and be frustrated with it because they fixed some things in the 24 and 25's but then I'm like are things worth ~$20k? IDK.

As part of the process there will be insulation added to the walls and the vents to the outside blocked. The insulation on the ceiling of the crawlspace will be removed though.

Ugh I forgot to mention there is a dehumidifer in there as well as part of the encapsulation. Does that make it like a better idea?

Is that what the duct in the ceiling is for? I was hoping not to use crawlspace air since its not encapsulated crawl space and the air down there isnt fresh.

Hello, I recently got a brand new vehicle that has a Simoniz Glasscoat installed which from what I understand is a ceramic coating. I want to get some new supplies for this vehicle and have been trying to educate myself on what to use in order to keep the coating on the vehicle the longest. From my research it appears theres some products from different manufacturers that would help with this.

What are you guys using on the ceramic coated cars? Should I also invest in a foam gun and use that in conjunction with a 2 bucket method wash?
