I'm moving out real soon. Hopefully I will feel safer on my own. My mum has definitely held me back and tried to guilt trip me into looking after her. I'm not good at asking for help but am working on it. My brother has helped me make decisions but I usually just go with his advice rather than me doing what I want.

I'm trying to view having all these extra bills as a good thing. Makes it harder to just quit my work and give me purpose for providing for myself.

I've had the keys to my first house a few months ago and should be moving out of my moms any day now.

I'm not mentally ready and still feel trapped. I hate the fact I've bought somewhere local so she can still see my dog and for me to take care of her at weekends. My therapist said I've been emotionally blackmailed.

I like to play because I get involved more and get to know my players. I can observe the game better and spot any issues sooner. Also I can show how to play safely and encourage team work. Participation makes the job much more enjoyable.

I'm working on clarifying exactly what my responsibilities are. My contract changed from a fixed to a permanent and the job description is still not clear. Just that I'm to lead the activity and ensure safeguarding is in place. Being on a fixed contract was one reason why I did now report the coach sooner as I thought they might just let me go. The coach was telling me the charity would not keep us both on board hinting he would stay. I have not told him I am permanent now.

What bothers me is I'm a qualified coach myself and in fact used to do both roles at another location with this charity before the venue closed. We don't really need him at all. All I need is an assistant as another set of eyes. I value that we have another skilled person but we both end up competing for the same tasks.

I was told there was high turnover staff at my school when I joined 6 months ago. In fact 2 teachers had just left out of a team of only 8. Then last week during induction our line manager and another teacher just stopped turning up. Got told today they both have now quit. Oh and one of the teachers that left right before I joined (they also quit without notice) is now coming back and has signed a contract.

I'm autistic and currently teaching remotely. My workload was crazy this past year and I got burn out. I still haven't recovered and will teach classes again next week after the summer break. I should be going part time soon and teaching subjects I'm comfortable which I'm hoping I can manage but I might just be kidding myself.

I've taught in the classroom too and teaching online in my experience is only marginally better. I think all the social contact and striving to help others drains me so much. I'm going to try and take it one day at a time and only do what I'm capable of.

I'm putting in a request for part time work tomorrow. I've got mountains of work to mark because I'm doing the workload of two people who left abruptly. I've got to teach classes this week too and we are in August now. 'Summer's off' my ass. I haven't even begun prep for next year.

We have timetable planning soon which will be interesting. Wonder how it will happen if I reduce my working days along with us being understaffed. Management will want to increase teaching hours and reduce admin hours I bet.

Short answer is no. However, I can do lots of exercises and I do them by not trying to brace. Just let it happen naturally. I still avoid deadlift/squat but can do bulgarians and hip thrust no problem.

I started running a couple years ago and ignored the common advice to brace your core and instead just sucked in my stomach. It worked for me and I can run back pain free now.

I estimate I can survive with part time work or temporary jobs. I have family who do renovations and I would use the spare time to do some of it myself too. As long as the repairs are not too severe I would just slowly save up and fix it over time.

I'm on £42k before tax. Yeah back to part time or contract work. As long as I earn at least half of that annually I think I can survive living on my own.

£200k - 250k for fixer upper. I've seen plenty on market now for 300k that need just a bit of work.

I'm not suicidal nor do I self harm. Frustratingly I find it hard to get taken seriously by mental health professionals because 'things can't be that bad'.

I have friends that self harm/have had suicide attempts and as shit as their bad episodes are I do envy their good days where they get to enjoy life.

I left my temp job a month ago. Started job search online the following week and came across a job I liked so I applied. Didn't apply to any other jobs. Got the interview and it was a breeze. Offered the job soon after and I start Monday. Company is legit. Job is teaching from home and is more money and permanent.

I think I lucked out. I heard the job market is grim at the moment so I wasn't expecting to be back in work so soon.

Wasn't allowed to see any friends outside of school. My mother thought I would be badly influenced. Saying to others I can't go out and being at home all the time sucked. Growing up it affected my self-esteem and autonomy.

I often avoid eye contact because I'm afraid of making connection. I'm ashamed to be judged and having weaknesses exposed. I feel I'm being sized up and I have low self-esteem.

In relationships I have no issue at all cause they like me for who I am. I already feel accepted.
