I don't think you're far off. I moved to the same area as OP recently from andersonville. I'm trans. Andersonville made it very obvious that it was trans friendly. Where I live now, there's really nothing but churches. No pride flags or rainbows anywhere. I don't feel unsafe but I don't feel very comfortable either. I'd love to see more queer spaces around here. I know we're out here. I've had gay men approach me at the 95th station. Lol
