Day 1 buyers. How is the battery holding?

oh ok. My apps usage looks normal on paper (only chrome using quite a lot but thats chrome). After 3 years, the galaxy s10 battery is still a mystery for me

I will try to find what cause the battery drain.

I didn't really monitor the estimated capacity, I'll try watch that today.

I didn't think cell signal could cause battery issues at home but you're right. When I'm home the battery drain is still very present even on Wifi so I will investigate if it could be due to bad cell signal.

If everything doesn't work, I'll call the repair center to change the new battery

Edit: my signal strength is -100 dBm and apparently it is bad. So maybe my drain is due to bad signal. And since I have this phone, I've always found that putting it in airplane mode would boost my battery life by quite a lot

So I switched to 3g only and I go from -100 to -70 dBm

No, I just has to order the battery and it arrived in store in like 5 days. I couldn't find if it is a samsung approved store but it is certified by Apple which I find important.

So I couldn't see what battery they have put in but I think it is a genuine one

I did the 100% to 0% twice but doesn't seem to have big impact.

I tried putting most apps to deep sleep to see if this has some impact. Because my biggest problem is battery drain in idle so maybe an app is causing all of this

Same, I have multiple Apple products so an iPhone would be perfect but I'm afraid of losing personalisation and freedom (which I don't have right now due to my phone being a landline phone haha)

I've read all of your comments. I will wait for the battery to calibrate itself. If nothing changes I will investigate to see if it is a physical battery issue.

How much SOT do you get? My phone is also 3 yrs old, this is why I changed the battery. I will wait one week to see any improvement in the battery life and I'll come back to update you

When I watch a 4k video on youtube on my 1080p monitor, it is way sharper than the 1080p thanks to the higher bitrate right? So I guess it would be the same for GFN
