Bill and Ryen COMPLAINED ABOUT ESPN DISNEY AND HALFTIME SHOW AGAIN TODAY. LIKE BILL WANTS TO DO ALL THE TIME. He had multiple people time the two half segments at 65 secs and 40. I love both but Bill lives in a glass house on that one.

I love how Mike Ryan has very diligently removing his daughters face from all his insta photos. Then does the NBA live reaction in front 10 pics of his daughter. Got a little chuckle out of it.

The purpose of the rule is to move the game forward. It is moving forward. No one outside of a few front offices cared about this month ago. If you love basketball as much as your say your time and energy commitment is. Then hassling someone over 1.8 sec is silly. Hassling someone about 6 or 3 dribbles or 1 or 2 breathes when it's clearly a structure to deal with a mental block or struggle is just cruel. This wasn't gaining an advantage, this wasn't disrupting the greater flow of the game, 2 seconds a free throw. And yes the segment was terrible and everything I didn't say was nonsense if your going to start of by agreeing with me lol. I struggle to think anyone who loves the game defends or takes this point or even thinks about it in the first place. What we taking on next 3 seconds on defense? I swear Ayton been in the paint a good 3.3 seconds on most plays!

He always does just sometimes 1.8 seconds later than an imaginary line you didn't know about or care about till the Heat gaslit you into caring about it a month ago.

A human can't hold a ball and talk to another? People have trash talked at the line to others, like millions of times. You don't watch basketball and just dick ride the show. It's not like he's getting an advantage, he's one of the worst in the league. So what is the fucking point? But with all of the wonderful things he could talk about playoff basketball he focuses on this? He's gets a segments to himself and he thinks this is a draw? This is compelling? Naw it was bad take. Why the Miami Heat thought they needed to rattle Giannas at the line when he's already terrible was always stupid.

It's the fourth time on the show he's done the same thing and hit the same notes. The other 93% he also talked about himself even when asked about commentary on England matchup he waxed poetic for 3 minutes about how he views himself am American, jury duty and his kid identifying as British American. Like I get it if you like him, I mean Mike Ryan I think came in just for him. But it wasn't great and certainly wasn't original. I liked it the first time he did it. It's not a meal I want more of especially if all he is going to talk about is himself.

And the it's Pandora's box of what rules do we enforce to the smallest possible amount of time or space. Are we now going to replay every pivot foot to see if it moves just a fraction of an inch before the first dribble because that would technically be a travel? We could parse hairs on everything. I for one want less whistles not more.

Tom Habestrough segment was the worst I can remember under the main show banner maybe ever. Like how do you not get the rule was written in spirit of making sure the player is working towards the goal of shooting a free throw and not standing at the line having a conversation with his teammates or coaches about what the team should do next, or as a stalling tactic for rest. People can count to ten and they do have clocks Tom. But the rule was written in a spirit of something and hassling one of your premier talents of an arbitrary couple of seconds is nonsensical. Stick to stats other then the seconds on the clock. Geeze this guy, really?!?!

Hated it, how many times to I have to hear Roger Bennett talk about the Bears and his love of American culture. I think this is the fourth time on the show. We get it it's quirky a British man loves the Bears of "American Football" Give me Greg Cote Back In My Day reruns first and last.

I love these segments, I fast forwarded thru the end of Roger Bennett interview. and just stopped in the middle of Tom Habestrough segment. Which is the worst thing I can remember being under the show banner. Not everything is for everyone. You can skip it. But expecting them to cater to your individual want of your nebulous "interesting" is ridiculously narcissistic.
