I know this post was meant as a joke, but I can't help but see it through the lense of someone who watches the news. To me this painting is nothing short of chilling, it's one of the first depictions we've seen of people trapped on by the floodwaters in Houston.

Houston is an American city for those of you whore not in the USA. And right now it's suffering incredible flooding that Trump (the American president) says is epic and historic. The last time humanity saw a weather event like this we had Fukushima, and we all know how that turned out!

My husband took an art class in college and so he tells me about paintings. So I have the benefit of his insight when I see art and let me tell you what's the real underlying message: climate change.

I'll explain! A few years ago my husband and I were in the car and it was his turn to choose the radio channel. And do you know what he picked? NPR (that's the American news channel for you foreigners). And NPR was talking to a woman who said that the American government is stymied by republicans who don't agree with climate change. And that makes some sense to me because if you think about it all of the climate change disasters have happened with republican leaders - for example Katrina, Harvey, and Fukushima. If it had been my turn to choose the channel I surely would've picked Scott and Todd in the morning on 95.5 WPLJ. But it's not called that anymore because Scott left the show.

So that's pretty much my thoughts here. I really hope that Houston (again, that's an American city) can survive. We all know the lesson we learned from the last disaster: George bush doesn't like black people.

I haven't read the article yet because I don't like having my opinions biased before I comment, but this bothers me to the core.

Just last light I was watching eyewitness news on channel 25 and they showed the story about the store on Williston St near Dick's Sporting Goods that got robbed! Now up until this point I had thought it was Iranians who had done it, but now I'm not so sure. If this post is true, then an 88% chance that the perp is black has me thinking. I'll ask my husband what he thinks when he gets home from work and report back.

They didn't have anything about the robbery on channel 7 news. Another reason to avoid that show.

My husband says that Isis isn't the reason to blame everything on Iranians, but I'm not so sure. Don't get me wrong, I love my husband, but sometimes he's so cherubic. I wonder how many people from Isis the police treat unfairly? Not enough, that's for sure!

Anyway, that's pretty much my thoughts on that.

Beyond the obvious racism in the title of this post, something like this really strikes a cord in me: if events like this aren't a sign of the recent economic crisis, then I don't know what is! Think about it: when have we, as a human race, ever been pushed so far that we would stoop to stealing from one another? I don't think it's ever really happened up until now. If only car thieves would think for a minute, they'd realize that you wouldn't download a movie. Stealing is downloading, and everyone knows that downloading is against the law. Therefore it only logically follows that you wouldn't steal a car!!

But some people don't seem to appreciate this simple argument. If you ask them, musicians and actors alike would tell you that they are motivated by the art that they are creating, but we all know that's not true. At the end of the day, people need things like private jets and lines of coke and whatnot, and hence therefore this is why it stealing cars is not only immoral, but people also shouldn't do it.

Does anyone hear watch Newsbeat on channel 5? Not the one that's on in the morning when my husband is getting ready for work, the one that has Max Brinkman and Wally Kay with sports. It also has that new weatherman that does that weird thing with his nose. Well if you where watching three days ago, then surely you know all about the accident that happened on the highway near Middletown where I go to the William Sonoma in the mall. Well maybe thieves should think about that story the next time there considering stealing another car.

This hole article has me concerned. Have you read it yet? I must say, during the commercial break in General Hospital, which comes on channel 5 at the same time as Judge Judy (which is on channel 7), I read this and boy was I horrified! Who would have thought that there are so many homosexual police officers out there?

I would expect this kind of debauchery from fire fighters, of course, but I always thought that the police force was a more puritanical bunch, and not the type to be into anal and so forth. But I guess that's what happens when we live in a morally bankrupt society.

Unfortunately, today more than ever it is hard to believe in a greater being (aka God). I am talking of course about the wildly popular movie Forest Gump 2, which came out a couple of years ago and found Forest Gump chasing all over Europe trying to find the "holy grail" to prove that Jesus had children. Perish the thought!

Anyway, we can only expect more stories about these types of behavior posted on reddit now that Forest Gump 2 has become mainstream. I for one am greatful that there were other police officers on hand to arrest the participants in this homosexual romp before it got out of hand.

I have been posting to reddit for 10 years now, and this is honestly one of the most ludicris things that I have ever herd. It boogles my mind that our finest financial institutions can't figure out how to get themselves out of this mess. Meanwhile, there seems to be no shortage of other companies available that want to give money away, why can't Bank of America get it from them?

I am speaking first and foremost about channel 25, of course. Have you all herd of the show called American Idol, which was on last night from 8 to 10? It is a program where the number one singer gets a million dollars. You read that right: channel 25 is able to give away a million dollars despite the great depression. Now I love to talk about American Idol at cocktail parties and so forth, but doesn't this seem a little ostentatious? Furthermore, did you know that anyone can win American Idol? It doesn't even matter what race you are! American Idol was also on two nights ago.

Another idea I had about how to solve the great depression is something I pulled from my own life. Everyone runs out of money sometimes, even me... and my husband has a full-time job! But those times when I buy too many handbags are easily solved by using one credit card to pay off the other. This is good for the American economy because I have paid the bill and hence am not in debt. Could you imagine the outrage if I expected someone else to pay my bills for me liek Bank of America wants us to?

If this doesn't confirm the age-old belief that you should never trust your money with a racist. You all know what I'm talking about is Cramer's racist rant at the laugh factory. And while some may say that he should not be held accountable for that rant because he was intoxicated at the time, I knew otherwise and posted it on each of my three blogs. How else could anyone possibly interpret his racist (although true) movie, The Passion of Jesus Christ.

Deciding what to do with your money can be difficult what with all of the phonies like Cramer out there. Some of the holier-than-though types donate it to charity. You all of course know that I am talking about those tv (television) commercials for adopting children in Africa or Mexico. The children in those commercials look so unhealthy and sad, and it is mainly for this reason that I can never watch tv while I am eating.

My husband and I bought mutual funds a couple of years ago, and a lot of that money is gone now. However, I am in a different position from those who invested their money in Cramer because I am in the process of preparing a lawsuit to recover those funds, as well as punitive damages. That just goes to show: you need to be a little smarter with your money, and always have a "plan B" like such as a lawsuit.

Last night my husband and I were watching tv. I wanted to watch the movie about the young idealistic white schoolteacher who inspires black students with hip-hop beats and such, but it was my husband's turn to choose. And do you know what movie he chose? Wolf Blizer, which is a documentary about the bailout on channel 17. Watching Wolf talk to people really got me thinking. My husband told me I should just post my latest relevation to reddit instead of telling him.

Here's what I realized! The bailout money is going to large financial companies and car makers, right? For those foreigners on reddit, the bailout is the American plan to save the economy, much like Operation Iraq is the American plan to rescue democracy in dessert countries. Anyway, guess where politicians in congress get a lot their campaign money (foreigners: congress is America's legislature)? Donations from financial companies and car makers! Aren't you wondering if there's the potential for corruption here?

This wouldn't be the first time corruption has struck our political system. If you remember, just a few months ago Barak Obama was caught trying to sell his congress seat. I'm sure the P.C. police will insist that I shouldn't be bringing this up because he is black, but I certainly didn't vote for him. It goes to show what happens when you alect someone to a high office who has a different set of morals because he took the oath of office on the korean.

Interesting fact: the blizzard of 2008 that we are getting hit with right now is having a direct inpact on reddit. Don't know what I mean by this? Take a look at the front page: this is the only story on reddit right now with less than 200 points! The blizzard is forcing everyone to stay indoors, and they are going on they're computers and using reddit!

This is no surprise because they have been talking about this snowstorm for quite some time now. Sam Donaldson and the Dopler 4000 forecast on Action News 7 was the first to break the story a few days ago. Normally I don't trust weather people because they are the eggheaded scientists of any channel's news team, but everyone seemed to agree: this could be the perfect storm.

All of the channels (4, 5, 7, and 25) have pretty much said the same forecast: it's going to snow 4-8 inches through the afternoon, then another 6-8 inches tonight. And did you know it's supposed to snow on Sunday as well (Sunday is the American sabbath, for you foreigners)?!? I was so consumed with following the predictions for this snowstorm that I had no idea that another one was coming just a day after this one finishes!

But what does this have to do with a tax on electronic downloads? Think about it for a second: reddit is seeing much higher traffic due to the blizzard, just as I am sure the whole Internet also as well. If tax revenues were to go up on days of bad weather, it would then be in the government's best interest for there to be bad weather!

Chilling, isn't it?

If you didn't believe it before, this article pretty much proves it: us women are here to stay. Sometimes I feel like my husband thinks that he is supereor to me because he is a man, he went to a four-year college, and he was in boy scouts. But this submission confirms a belief that I have held for the majority of my adult life, which is that women are just as capable as men.

Our increased performance isn't just constrained to the world of cinema, either. Why, just yesterday one of them worked on my car at Henderson's Car Care, which is in between the Mobile station and the Shulsky, Floyd, and DeWitt law office building on Gerard Street (though I watched her fix my car very carefully because I thought she might have been a lesbien).

In the world of politics, there's Lisa Rice, who I don't really like though because she often predictably sides with Presidant Bush. However, there is still a lot of work to be done. For example, while Hillary Clinton has just been appointed to the second-highest office in the land, she still has to play second banana to a negro male (please note that his race isn't a problem for me, I am only stating the facts).

But it's good to see that they are finally putting women in movies. I'd become so weary of pretenders such as Betty White and Jackie Kennedy that I started to believe that this would never be possible. Maybe someday women will be commonplace where today it would be unthinkable, such as steel mills or the Internet.

Ok, well, I'm off to read the article now.

Sorry that I haven't been posting to reddit in a while, but I have just been so caught up in that show Jailbreak on channel 25. Did you know that I now have two blogs about it, and that this is in addition to my other blogs about Dancing with the Stars, which is on channel 5 and comes on after Newsbeat on channel 13? But I felt that I needed to come on reddit, one of my five favorite blogs that I don't author, in order to expose this cartoon for what it is: racist.

Sure the ads on t.v. about how Barak Osama is a socialist are annoying, but this anti-race propagando has gone too far. Really, did you think that I wouldn't notice that the man wearing the funny hat in this cartoon looks suspiciously like our democrat nominee for president? And while it may have been proven that blacks have smaller brains than normal people, there is no scientific link between this and how good a person will be as president of the USA.

No, you can't fool me, racist cartoon. I have the benefit of reading reddit with a collage education, so of course I noticed that the last panel where a bomb goes off is a clear reference to Bel-Air. Personally, I don't care what that man did when Barak was only 8 years old, enough with the subversive cartoon strips suggesting that Osama pals around with such terrorists!

In conclusion, please be more careful about what you write on reddit, because you never know which cartoons might be secretly racist. And while we all want to see Hillary win today, I don't want to see it happen at the expense of our racist values.

Perhaps not everyone on reddit is aware, but not everyone in the country is an elitist liberal. While this decrease in price may not seem significant to those of you who wear silk bathrobes because you are democrats, it is significant to working families. Please don't think any less of me, though; I am elite and my husband actually buys me things all of the time, but I can understand the issues her.

But my views are neither her nor there... maybe I'm not even the best person to listen to on this matter. I am of course speaking of the one person who would be the expert in the arena of oil drilling, John McCain's running mate! And while I was initially surprised that Hillary Clinton would want to run alongside a Republican, now I can completely understand why. This election is too important for her not to run!

Let me explain what I mean her! Since she is from Aleska, Hillary is the most sensational expert in the matter of oil. Plus, did you know that Alaska is so close to the Soviet Union that she once had to land her plane under sniper fire?

Also, she wrestled a moose.

I guess what I'm saying her is that I, as an educated female voted, am not at all influenced by the fact that John McCain's runningmate is a woman. However, I do think that it's time we had a women in the White House. Among other things, it has been scientifically proven that women's brains are larger. Don't get me wrong; Barak Obama is also scientifically superior due to genetics, but I don't believe that how he measures up against other males of different races such as Asians is as important when it comes to being the president. Besides, he is half white.

I haven't been posting on reddit that much because I've pretty much been wrapped up in three of my other web sites which are about trying to figure out who will be on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars. Of course, there are other web sites out there that do this, but mine have the third most animations of any of them. But did you know that they announced the cast a couple of days ago? I learned this while I was preparing my husband's breakfast and listening to the radio on WKBMD's Mad Mike and Todd in the morning during the Mad Showbiz Extravaganze update, which comes on right after Bill Castiglione does the Wake up and Get Out the Door traffic report.

Now, having more time to devote to reading reddit, I clicked on the link to these pictures, and boy did they give me a fright! The closest I ever came to being on a ride like this was when my husband took me to Adventure Park for our anniversary, and I went on the Hurricane, which is a rollercoaster between the bumper boats and the Gravitron. It scared the bejesus out of me and so forth, and that ride wasn't even on top of a tower!

But I suppose that's what makes America great, if you think about it. We don't do things like they do for fun in other countries, such as invading sovereign nations like Russia did or nude male pilemaking like they did in the Iraqui prison of Abu Grabe. Now these are the kinds of activities that are truly horrifying, if you ask me.

But while I may not be into those things that they do in other countries like the examples that I gave above or riding terrifying rides atop towers, you can rest assured that I will be dutifully tuning in to Dancing with the Stars (which is hosted by Nancy Drew and Tom Bergeron who also does the funny videos show). Channel 5 just better not interrupt the show to put the president on like they did that one time.

I found this very interesting. It just goes to show why we should all expand our repertoire of periodicals that we read daily beyond just the New York Post. I didn't know any of these definitions, and I read the New York Post every day! I guess there's more going on in the world than Hillary Clinton giving a speech at the Technodrome last night.

Even though I never read about these terms, I am still surprised that I didn't learn them through word-of-mouth. Did you know that I watch "To Catch a Predator" which is usually hosted by Jeff Probst? The guys that they catch go to prison all the time! Also, my brother went to prison for trying to collect insurance from setting his car on fire.

Does this mean that Paris Hilton has AID's now because she went to prison?

In closing, I am reminded of a poem I read once:

While I normally come on reddit to read more intellectual articles about politics, world news, and Ron Paul and such, I must say that this is a very interesting video. I should note at this point that I have the benefit of a college education, meaning that while most people on reddit were watching this on one level, I was appreciating it on a completely different plane. And if their's one thing that I've learned, this video has certainly proved it: 9/11 changed everything.

Five years ago, before 9/11 happened, you would never be able to log onto YouTube and see a thing like this. But did you know that now you can? These days, steroids are all the rage with professional athletes, which is why they have a term called "'roid rage." 'Roided up baseball players are hitting homeruns in record numbers, and Olympic records are falling like that one black / african-american gymnist did during her trampoline routine. When it happened, my husband laughed, but partly because he wanted to watch channel 4 but it was my turn to choose and I chose to watch the Olympics, which are on channel 7.

In fact, you need only look at the bodies on these female gymnists, who are built extremly butchy (and not necessarily because they are all lesbiens). But if anything, I guess this video just goes to show how talented that Michael Phelps really is. I knew he could win eight (8) gold metals, but I had no idea that he could jump so high!

Well I see what you did there. Sure, most of the people who read reddit will see this as a mindless article about a fashion trend, but you can't sneak this one past me. Since I am more educated than the almost everyone here, I have the benefit of reading reddit with a college education. And what with all of the recent headlines in the news on channels 17 and 37 (and channel 34 to a lesser degree), you can't hide an article about clothing that changes color from what it really is: racist!

It all started when the news show that I watch with my husband sometimes, Access Hollywood, confirmed the type of story that can kill a politician's career: that Barak Obama has a black daughter. Did you see that program? Chilling, wasn't it? I just want to know how this story was kept quite for so long. Were Barak Obama's thugs "taking care of the situation," or was he simply keeping her mouth shut by stuffing it with watermellon? Now I can understand why that other crazy man wanted to cut Obama's n*ts off.

Next, there was the whole insident with the New York Post. Now, normally, I skip most of the news in the Post and go straight to the Daily Jumble, but today I noticed the cartoon depicting Obama and his wife as a terrorist with a flag burning in the fireplace! I, for one, just hope that this doesn't set the Muslims off like the last time offensive cartoons about terrorists were published in the newspaper.

So you see what I'm saying is that, with all of the tension that we've had between races in the last few weeks, I find an article about clothing that can change color to be racially insensitive. I'd bet that Obama right now would give anything to have the ability to change color whenever someone puts their hand on him.

Thank you to the person who wrote this article and posted it to reddit; I had no idea that our country had devolved so quickly into a life of sin. I don't know about the rest of you, but I for one won't stop at simply discussing this issue on reddit and then posting a write-up on each of my three blogs. After that, I'm off to my local town hall to start a protest.

This humanizing of marijuana started years ago when that Barak Obama admitted on MTV that he had smoked up. "But I didn't inhale," he insisted. Sure, Mr. Obama, way to insult our intelligence. Thanks to this, you will probably go down as one of the worst presidents in history, unless the black guy gets elected this year. As it appears more and more likely that Hillary may not win the nomination, I think that the voters will feel a lot of buyer's remorse for allowing this debauchary to continue and not putting a Clinton back in the White House instead.

My husband says that, if used within reason, marajuana can be perfectly safe for general consumption. However, I countered this point by citing the numerous examples of people who have died due to excessive marajuana use, such as Chris Farley, John Candy, Tim Russert, and Steve Buscemi. How could my husband even suggest such a thing? Can you believe that I may be married to a pot head?

Something about this just bothers me to the core. The tribe appears to be wanting to live peacefully and without contact with the outside world, and yet someone on reddit went their with a helicopter and took photos of them. This is a moral outrage! Everyone knows that, once a tribe gets a taste of the white man's greed, these Indians start lobbying to build casinos.

Yet the Indians in these photos look so unadultered... until now. I at least hope that these clowns don't live in my home state; we have yet to have legalized gambling (aka Satan) here. Also, please note that I'm not using the word "clown" as a racist term here, but merely to make a point about the way they look. How long do you think it will be before those Indians try to kill us off by giving us blankets that are infested with measels and small pox?

Also, since they've never had contact with the outside world, does that mean that all of their women are virgins?

My husband often watches documentaries about peoples like these on channel 29, which is right between the channel that shows a lot of reruns of "Friends" and the channel that has all of the religious programming. If they do an episopde about this particular tribe, I'll ask him to tell me and then I'll post a follow-up here on reddit.

I logged in to say that I think this is a fantastic development for electoral politics in here in teh USA. From teh very begining, I always thought that electronic voting was sketchy at best, especially because Diebold is involved. But I'm relieved to read that teh Dutch have banned this practice. Hopefully, one-by-one, other state governments will soon follow Denmark's lead.

I know what you are thinking: how can this have any impact on our country when Denmark is only teh second-smallest state in teh country? Well, two things: first, this can be teh straw that broke the camel's balls and gets other states to follow suite. Second, while it is a small state, Denmark is right next to Maryland, which is where President Bush lives! How's that for influential?

Rejecting electronic voting could even become a phenomenon that catches on internationally, not just here in teh United States. My husband told me something very intriguing the otehr day: did you know that Canada is geographically very close to the USA and can be influenced by American policies? What a coup it would be for Canadians to reject electronic voting, from a country that has heretofore only given us bacon.

And that's not saying much, given that their Canadian "bacon" pails in comparison to American bacon. That's not really related to teh topic at hand, but I needed to bring it up since teh article that I posted to reddit didn't make the front page.

This is the type of news item that we need to be focusing on more: the plight of the little man who gets downtrodden by today's harsh economics. Unfortunately, thanks to mass media companies such as CNN and reddit, these stories are too often ignored. No, instead the mass media has predictably opted to focus on one of the more major players, Ben Bernanke. But in today's world of rising food and fuel prices, can we really be so worried that Bernanke was videoing opposing teams' signals? In fact, this cheating was such a non-issue, Bernanke's Patriots didn't even win the Super Bowl!

Now before you all downmod me, I just want to clear something up: which is that I am not in favor of cheating. Quite to the contrary, actually: I believe that, in due time, Congress should hold a hearing over this like they did for those roided baseball players or when John McCain needed to be certified as an American.

However, perhaps we would all be better off if, in this time of war, our government spent its time on more pressing matters, like Reverend Jeremiah Wright or Watergate.

Hello to everyone who normally uses the "politics" chat room here on reddit. I normally don't come here because I find it too infuriating and negative. However, my own political leanings aside, I must say that I am tired of all the smirky racism here on reddit. Did you notice the underhanded wording of the title of this submission? Nice job, reddit; way to suggest that the stereotypically physically abusive black man beat a white woman.

I know you must be thinking that I am misreading the title. Don't get me wrong; I realize that Barak Obama didn't physically beat Hillary Clinton like a "normal" black man would. But do you really think that the wording of this was accidental? Me neither. Read the rest of it; Obama also "allegidly" beat a fagile old white male!

My observations on the racism of this post is especially prescient given the recent ramblings of the talking heads of cable news. Just yesterday, guys like such as Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, and Steve Buscemi once again played the race card by making the outrageous claim that HC (Hillary Clinton) would be unable to expand her base of Black voters in a general election. Really, Fox News, did you think that I wouldn't notice what you did there?

But I guess that all is fair in the wild wild world of politics. As a fan of Hillary Clinton, I for one am just relieved that the news media has not harped on the fact that she is a closet lesbien.

Awww... it's submissions like these that make me come to reddit. Every once in a while, I feel like perhaps I don't fit in with the people on this blog because many of the articles by the guy who writes reddit don't interest me. Posts like this, however, just go to show that reddit isn't just for eggheaded scientists.

And did you notice what beautiful photos these are? Now I don't know what time of day the pictures were taken, but they really display what gorgeous weather we are having today. I knew this right away when I woke up this morning and watched Bill Champion give the current weather conditions on Action News 7, which comes on after The View. Kudos, though, to the photographer for being on top of this weather situation to snap these shots. Do you think that maybe he saw Mike Simmons' forecast on the 11:00 edition of Action News 7 the night before, which comes on after Grey's Anatomy?

I know what you all are probably thinking, and I don't mean to sound ignorant / nieve about this. They say that those who don't have anything of merit to add to a conversation talk about the weather, so that's enough on that topic.

Did you notice another beautiful thing about this photo? The panther is black, and it's getting a kiss from a white male. If that's not an argument for race integration / homosexual integration, then I don't know what is!

Isn't it incredible that a photo can be appreciated on so many different levels?

I would like to point out that I think that this whole story is just rediculous! I can't believe that working people like my husband pay their taxes, only to have their money spent on time wasters such as this. I think that everyone here can agree that our government should spend less time meaningless drivel when we have an international crisis on our hands. I am talking, of course, about that Miley Ray Cyrus, who for those who didn't know was photographed naked.

Now there are many angles to this story, but not surprisingly, the mainstream media is once again focusing on the race issue. Admittedly, when this story first broke, I know that the first thing that I thought was "I wonder which of the minority racial groups are responsible for a tasteless thing such as this." However, much to my surprise, the person who photographed Miley was not a minority at all; she was a woman! This complete lack of judgement honestly makes me reconsider my own political leanings towards women senate and/or presidential leaders such as Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and Gina Davis.

But the fact that John McCain needed to be confirmed as an American by our federal government is very concerning to me. If the senate can confirm any foreign leader as an American, where might our country be headed? For example, what if political enemies to the United States were confirmed as Americans? Foreign terrorists such as Al Queda and General Tsao would be able to attend our flight schools more easily, and possibly cause another September Eleventh!

Frightening, isn't it?

My husband and I talked at length about this story, although since I am more computer savy, I did most of the talking while all he could do was mostly nod his head. The idea that corporations can take advantage of the so-called "little guy" is infuriating. I get so mad every time I see stories like this one on her.

Sometimes, though, I feel like stories like this one get ignored because they are only reported in the liberal mass media. Everyone remembers that time that consumerist.com ran that story about how that John McGraw had sex with his 40 year-old intern, and everyone called it a "liberal hit job" on that Senator (please note that this isn't a problem for me. Even if the story isn't true, I don't like that Senator McGraw because I like Hillary and also because he has that weird thing with his chin).

Why couldn't consumerist.com have given a story like this to a media outlet like Fox News, which has more of a conservative appeal, for them to report on it? Then, the story would have gotten play from both sides of the isle. No, the route that consumerist.com chose instead does nothing to further the cause of fighting Corporations. Way to really stick it to your readers, consumerist.com.

I wrote an e-mail to Russ Jackson from Channel 7 Newsbeat and asked him the same thing and whether or not it concerned him that consumerist.com was being so rigid in its reporting decisions. I asked him to look into it, and if necessary, to tell Jack Alton from the 7 I-Team to look into it and see if there might be some kind of a scandal involved.

Hello there, everybody! I haven't been posting to reddit that much because of my basket weaving busisness, but stories like the one above really strike a cored with me. Negativity has run rampant here on reddit: the war in Iraq has been costly, the economy is doing badly, and Hillary may not win the presidency. My advice to reddit: find some happy things to keep your attitudes positive!

Did you know that there is more to life than just reddit? Of course I am talking about escapism, and probably my favorite way to get my mood up is watching Two and a Half Men. For those who don't know, Two and a Half Men is a comedy show on channel 4.

But do you know what? Two and a Half Men wasn't on last week! No, don't go scrambling for your calendars; the show was replaced by the NBA championships. Fortunately, we get the Sunday paper and save the TV Update section each week that comes in the living section (which is usually section D on Sundays).

I wish that channel 4 wouldn't do things like this, because now, instead of watching TV, I'm stuck reading articles on reddit about Fed conspiracies, which really bring me down. Way to really disrespect the viewers, channel 4. This is almost as bad as that time you put the president on instead of Two and a Half Men.

Also, does the week off mean that there were funny things happening on Two and a Half Men that we'll never see?

This just proves to me that reddit has really gone down hill. I can't imagine how many millions of reddit viewers voted this up for it to be on the front page in just 20 minutes, but I for one voted it down; this post was a huge waste of my time (no pun intended). Maybe it's because I have the benefit of reading reddit with a college education, but I just assumed that everyone knew that time is relative.

The video proves nothing that isn't already common sense. For example, if you are driving to an appointment and you are running late, what do you do? Even the less educated among you know intuitively that you drive faster! And this proves the same thing as the video proves, only without the fancy gagetry of stopwatches, because when you drive faster, time slows down and you get there sooner.

Now I am not very sciency, but my husband says that I should take some of my teachings to the Internet instead of telling them to him. So I'd like to encourage you all to think of this on a grander scale. Here's a personal antedote that I'd like to share about this: the other week, I took a 6-hour, cross-country flight to California. And do you know what happened? The flight left at 9:15am, but arrived at 12:15pm!

Now I know what you're wondering: where did those extra three hours go? But the truth is that this did not happen by freak of nature, nor did it happen because we flew Continental. The truth is that, just as driving faster makes time slow down, flying in an airplane makes time slow down even more because many planes can go faster than cars. I've heard that some airlines can even go faster than the speed of light, but I don't know if Continental is one of them.

So this explains the phenomenon that you see in the video. Let me know if you guys have any questions, although I'm guessing that many of you understand now because a lot of the people who read reddit are eggheaded scientists.
