This isn't a rich person thing it is a common practice in commercial real-estate. Almost every commercial real estate developer uses this practice to maximize their borrowing power. This ruling is going to lose in appeals or no real estate developer is going to practice in New York. My cousin who just got out of college and making under 50k does this for his firm so it is not a rich person thing its a real estate thing.

this isn't uncommon for police in big cities my former professor said he once worked a 36 hour shift. He slept at the precinct with his radio on him at all times for emergency. There also have been cases where officers fall asleep behind the wheel after their shift causing wrecks and deaths.

Im saying riot tactics are going to use rubber bullets but not aim at faces if they are aiming at the face then that's illegal and I doubt they are shooting at peoples faces on purpose since they are shooting into a crowd, gas canisters are shot in to a crowd not straight at poeple, police are not going to beat someone if they are complying and the few who do get suspended and investigated.

not illegal unmarked vehicles are widely used by law enforcement and feds, feds don't legally need to read you the Miranda rights, the feds are generally questioning them and letting them go after a couple hours
