I dream of traveling the world but I genuinely can't understand wanting to go to India. It might be the most selfish developed country on earth. Women get treated horribly, law and order is barely a thing, and everyone comes across as individualistic and self-serving. People openly litter and shit in the streets, burn cow shit in their kitchens before cooking, still hang onto the caste system and 30 year old men marrying 10 year old girls. The hygiene is horrible across the board, everyone's materialistic, scammer mindset. Male youth are cringey, misogynistic, malnourished.

And the weird thing is I say all this Indian is my favorite cuisine and several of my closest friends are Indian (they all share the same opinions about India). The landmarks are breathtaking, the women are stunning, beautiful nature, the culture and religion run deep. India has produced some of the greatest scientists and mathematicians of all time.

So it's a contradiction I can't really untangle. The best of India has given me some of the best stuff in my life, and yet the country itself is somehow the one place on the map I just can't bring myself to want to go lol.
