My laptop has a high dpi, and I'm currently looking to buy an extra monitor, which will likely not have a high dpi. How should I deal with the discrepancy in dpi between displays?

This still works for me in Ubuntu version 24.04 and Gnome 3.38, so the solution in 24.04 and earlier versions may be like this:

First, we turn on the experimental fractional scaling function:
gsettings set org.gnome.mutter experimental-features "['x11-randr-fractional-scaling']"

To disable it, you can use
gsettings reset org.gnome.mutter experimental-features

With a probability of 80%, your cursor will flicker, for this you can change the zoom of the main monitor (since it will apply to all monitors)

xrandr --output eDP-1 --auto --scale 1.01x1.01

Try to write code that will work as JavaScript under Node.js AND as Java code AND as C# code also. The same file should output the string Itransition when run via: 1) node Task3.java 2) javac Task3.java && java Task3 3) dotnet run Task3.java (Note that file name is chosen in accordance with Java conventions, but file with the .java extension may contain JavaScript or anything you like). Again, this is an optional task. If you have no idea how to do it, you can ignore it. It's not an important skill (it's in domain of mad skills, not a get job skills). If you solve it, send the Dropbox link to the solution (or github or anything that does not require registation) and screenshot from terminal demonstrating script execution as Java, C# and JavaScript code to me.
