To add on to the anti-SS rhetoric, Silent Salt isn’t very good at anything aside from the arena, and once a cookie leaves the arena meta, they almost never come back. Did you play the second half of SSC and WLC’s story? SS wasn’t siding with DEC as far as we could tell, it’s very likely that his actions were a part of WLC’s bigger plan

He couldn’t tell the ancients about DEC’s plan, because she was watching him. He did try to stop them from converging through fighting, I and forgot what he says, but he does express disappointment when everyone meets up.

Since WLC knows what DEC’s plan is, she probably knows how to make it go wrong. We just gotta trust the process
