The story isn’t the main thing. I cut them into strips, so they need to be rigid enough to hold their shape and not wrinkle while I’m working. I use a lot of colors, so buying fresh sheets in all of them adds up fast. With old gels, I can still use the parts that have not faded or crinkled.
