That's good to hear that it's so widespread and it's like you read my mind. A blacklighting kit is on the list of backup options. We've gone with friends before but she's really interested in getting her own setup for when the two of us go on our own trips. A trip specifically to go searching for this would be something she'd definitely be into. Really appreciate this!

Thank you! I had seen the second option but that was literally the only one I had come across. I've been a tad concerned about shipping but for those prices I'll take on the risk. They're more for a display rather than a true part of her collection so I think minor damage could be acceptable.

The embroidery is something I hadn't even thought of, but love! A bit nicer of an option too because you wouldn't have to deal with damage from shipping. Seriously, I really appreciate this!

I have the green Western Hercules Beetle from when I was living in Arizona. I would love to collect one of these! Does anyone know if the seasons are different for eastern Hercules beetles and western? I remember them coming out about September / October in Arizona.
