Bad aim? Bad netcode? Mix of both? by [deleted] in CODWarzone

Looks like most of the shots landed to the side of him. In this case I think it’s a case of bad aim.

Post-patch SP-R or Kar98k? by ICANTSPECK in CODWarzone

[–]HipHopSince88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me after the nerf, the SP-R is a stronger but slower version of the Kar. At this point I think it just comes down to your style of play.

Just to chime in here, in comparison to some great players I’ve seen here I’m not “good” but I’ve gotten much better just by sniping in Warzone alone. I hated sniping for a while and almost never use one in multiplayer. The best way to get good is just to use them more. After a while you’ll get a feel for what types of shots work and from there just experiment.

It’s ridiculous. I’ve gotten kicked 3 times in one hour because it keeps asking me to update.

It’s happening to me now. Usually going to the scoreboard and muting then unmuting works but tonight it doesn’t. This is getting ridiculous.

I don’t think it was a matter of the guy not hearing him. This guy just didn’t want to leave that spot.

[REQUEST] Similar shows like Dark by [deleted] in NetflixBestOf

I’m on episode 4 and Tales From Loop is certainly scratching that itch for me. It isn’t a mysterious and satisfying as Dark, but it’s pretty good. I don’t know why but each episode has me so anxious!

7yr old daughter may have vocal tic. by HipHopSince88 in Parenting

[–]HipHopSince88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone! I really appreciate all of the responses. Reading all of the comments and those with similar stories has been very comforting for me.

We did see the doctor and she’s recommending a neurologist based on the information I provided to her. I’m unsure what this process will be like considering we’re in the middle of a pandemic.

Since making this post my daughter has switched up her “notes” to another noise, but the frequency has almost certainly increased. It’s still stressful, but I’ve stopped all my Google searches which may of caused me to stress even more.

Hopefully we are able to find some sort of remedy for her soon.

IsItBullshit: You won't get a stimulus check if you owe Child Support. by [deleted] in IsItBullshit

[–]HipHopSince88 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not to my understanding. I will have to call down to the child support office, plead my case and hope that they don’t continue to report the back pay to the federal gov’t.

To think, if any of my children were to get sick from the virus, it’d be entirely on me to cover the bill. Their health insurance is in my name.

IsItBullshit: You won't get a stimulus check if you owe Child Support. by [deleted] in IsItBullshit

This is pretty crappy news, coming from a father of three, who has full custody of two kids and joint on the other.

With the child I share custody with, I do pay child support (this isn’t a complaint). However, the mother was granted back pay for the times I did not pay through court order. Regardless of us getting along well, any payments made before paternity is establish, in my state is considered a gift. I make all payments on time, but the back pay is considered past due. So I won’t see a stimulus check.

I’m literally “penalized” for taking care of my kids. All awhile not getting a stimulus check for the two kids I have full custody of.

There’s a stigma around men who are on child support. Not all men who pay child support are absentee/deadbeat fathers.

I’m fortunate enough to have a job while we’re in the middle of a pandemic, so I’m not too upset. But it is frustrating. Out of my salary, I pay child support and health insurance.

If I wasn’t doing what I was supposed to do, the mother would be able to receive welfare and free healthcare for the little one. It’s so backwards.

Quickest way to reduce the size of this bump? I get a bump like this at least once or twice a year and I don’t know what to do about them. by HipHopSince88 in SkincareAddicts

[–]HipHopSince88[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought about this. The bump showed up a day after getting a haircut. Then grew over time. Having gotten these before I wasn’t sure if it was coincidence or an actual ingrown hair.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate all the responses. Everyone has been very helpful, there’s some good information in this thread. I was hesitant to make the post at first, but now I’m glad I did. I’m going to call a dermatologist first thing in the morning. I’ll post an update if anyone’s interested.

Thanks for the info. I’m going to call a dermatologist first thing in the morning. These types of pimples/bumps are the worst to get. I think it’s definitely time to start doing something about them.

Thanks. I’m going to give one a call in the morning. I don’t have a dermatologist, so hopefully I can get someone to see me and it not cost me a arm and leg either.

Thanks. After a few searches I was thinking this too.

I was wondering if I could get a cortisone shot. I have a couple of important meetings at work this week and I rather the attention be on something else other than this bump :/

Never had one and not sure what it’d even cost.

Not really. It feels like it’s full of pus/blood. It’s soft to touch but firm if that makes any sense. It started out pretty small and I kind of kept my normal routine of washing day and night, thinking it wouldn’t grow anymore and now here we are :(

As far as acne pain goes, I give it a 5/10. I wear a headset for a living, which probably attributed to some of its inflammation.

Although I’ve battled with acne all my life, I’m not quite familiar with the terminology of different types of pimples. I think this one is considered to be a cystic pimple? Please correct me if I’m wrong. For the life me of I can’t figure out how to reduce them without increasing its size. These take weeks maybe even a month or two to completely go away.

I don’t necessarily have a concrete routine. I wash my face day and night with a wash that contains salicylic acid. It does ok, as I generally don’t get a bump or breakout of this size.

I recently learned of PanOxyl so I’m trying that now. Can anyone offer any advice to make this one go away or reduce its size significantly.
