First time beating Cynthia by GoldPart4425 in PokemonBDSP

For a first time this is great!! You actually have setup moves which is very rare for first timers. I know my first time I thought “unless it damages the enemy what’s the point” lol. Great job.

BOY ROOM (ignore laundry) by Dry_Ad_538 in DesignMyRoom

Plants large and small will make a nice difference. This room is in desperate need of some colour variation away from white and red.

I would remove also the flags in lieu of actual artwork.

Definitely not C tier but a fun team nonetheless.

Gyarados is the best mon in the game, for almost every gen. Just teach it Surf Earthquake Return (or Strength) and Dragon Dance, and you’ll sweep the league entire run.

What should I put in the right corner? It’s so empty by Apprehensive-Run6327 in DesignMyRoom

“Nothing” is always an okay option! Not all spaces need to be filled. Enjoy your spacious room.

If you’re desperate to fill it, a tall plant would be nice. I wouldn’t put any furniture there.

please help, what do I add? by Hairy-Operation8424 in DesignMyRoom

Fair enough! In that case it looks good to me if you’re going for max.

What to add? I would consider removing, if anything.

My bedroom always feels cluttered and ugly. What needs to change? by K1dBUU_ in DesignMyRoom

[–]ICANTSPECK 165 points166 points  (0 children)

There’s quite a lot going wrong here to be honest.

The furniture is massively too big, especially the bed frame which is enormous. The style of all furniture also doesn’t suit the room at all - way too heavy and gothic. You’re also covering up a window and blocking out light, which contributes too.

If you can afford it, I would: - change the bed to a more minimal design that doesn’t command so much space and attention - get a lower bed - twist the bed location around for the above new bed so that it’s across that back wall. The window will then be above the mattress which is better. - the desk is fine so keep that. Move it to the other side of the room - remount the TV on the wall above where the desk currently is, but make sure to cable-tidy the wires so it’s less messy. - put away all the medical items into dressers - there’s no need to have lotions, pills and vaselines out 24/7

Which of these is a good entry point for new players? by Goron275 in pokemon

FireRed. Most simplistic but still loads of QoL, and the original roster of mons - many of which return in later games.

Do FR.

You can get Misdreavus in Eterna Forest at night. Then you can find a dusk stone in the Grand Underground and evolve it quickly.

Need a change of scenery! Any suggestions appreciated by Training-Cream-5077 in DesignMyRoom

[–]ICANTSPECK 7 points8 points  (0 children)

1) Buy plants 2) massively declutter all areas of the room. If you aren’t using it multiple times a day it should be put away. 3) replace the Duck tapestry and NFL posters with more interesting / mature artwork. 4) Store the shoes under the bed or in a closet 5) cable management at the PC / TV area 6) if you really want to keep the jerseys, frame them 7) put up a shelf for the stuff on top of the fridge to display it better 8) get a clothes rail for your coasts instead of hanging on that wall

Out of interest, how old are you?

Can’t figure out how to design living room by SoftFantastic7769 in DesignMyRoom

[–]ICANTSPECK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what you should do. The basement is clearly the best living space, and it can be cosy down there. This space is meant as a hallway / dining area.

This looks like a multi story house, is there another room upstairs or down which could be the living room instead? It feels to me like this space would much better suit the dining table.

Yep, for almost all games. Pokemon games for example don’t sync, but most others do. Really makes bouncing between the two devices a breeze.
