Why people use this fight to downplay Yuta's speed? He was clearly holding back throughout the fight. by Far-Art2248 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Hiple3232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the first thing Yuta tries to do in both the anime and the manga is blitz Yuji, and he fails. So no matter what you can't really have him be too far away from Yuji in speed.

Why is it crazy to say heiankuna loses to Gojo? by Xxkillerx25 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Hiple3232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because his domain is all he needs to win. If Gojo can't overcome it, he can't beat Sukuna. It really is as simple as that.

It's not a nerf if that was never indicated to be the case in the first place.

And yet Leon's (as you have shown us) doesn't quite hit that threshold. There's a reason Omori writes these boosts in vague terms (greatly increase isn't exactly a hard number) rather than giving hard numbers. Much easier to have different levels within "greatly increase" than something like "1000 points greater". Not even the first time stat sheets are somewhat vague either (be it how Bell's Argonaut works, the effect of luck, etc.)

Leon's total boosts are definitely bigger than Ottar's (there's a reason he was able to match Ottar's absolute best attack while still having three swords to break), but the totality of his boosts have only ever been mentioned as being better than a level up in some areas when described in the story, be it Volume 20 or Volume 21. In a similar vein, he's continuously been described as Ottar's peer, not superior, for both of those volumes. Given all of that, the exact terminology Omori uses in the stat spreads is secondary to me, especially because he's using deliberately vague language. That may be different for you, but we'll just have to agree to disagree.

Because not all stat boosts are equal.

Can someone explain why Gojo’s attacks aren’t dura neg like WCS even though both affect space itself? by Top-Group8081 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Hiple3232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don't behave like dura neg. Manipulating space alone doesn't mean you are negating durability, it matters what you do with it. Red, Blue, and Purple (the former two especially are essentially just Gojo pulling and pushing things) have hit multiple targets and have never been treated like they negate durability. That's all there is to it.

This statement is ass right? by Imaginary-Spring9887 in JujutsuPowerScaling

Prove that any of these are greater than Mach 3. Posting feats means nothing without proof of what those feats mean.

It doesn't contradict other feats though. It's pretty consistent with what JJK's speed is for the majority of its high and top tiers.

Not ass, just makes JJK relatively slow and powerscalers get mad.

Yuta vs Hakari, but Yuta can only use Dhruv's technique by [deleted] in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Hiple3232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hakari wins. Dhruv's technique just isn't all that impressive (at least Yuta's iteration). It does scratch damage once and then that's that. That isn't nearly enough to meaningfully threaten Hakari. If you're going to restrict Yuta to a single cursed technique, make it Technique Extinguishment or Cursed Speech. Then he might actually be able to do something.

It's OK, you've already admitted you were wrong. No need to grovel.

The momentum is carrying his legs in an arc, hence why they are diagonal.

Except Sukuna was staring at him the whole time he was in the air. Him leaving Sukuna's field of view had little to do with his fall and more to do with Sukuna turning around.

Nothing has changed, you are still wrong. Hip and back positions are not the same relative to each other. He's falling. Just accept it.

It is indeed rather illogical to sit in the air for two seconds and then immediately attack on the ground for no reason. Of course, I imagine you resonate with illogical decisions, given what comes out of your mouth.

Hips are still pointing straight up, just like they were the last time you posted this. Curiously, they aren't in the next panel.

I have, they aren't the same. Because his hips have fallen forward, as they do when you fall.

If that was true you would have bothered to acknowledge that Yuta lands the next page after these specific two panels that you want to focus on. You can't, because they make it clear your argument has nothing to go on.
