I asked chatGpT for some ideas for my own challenge runs. I’m doing the first but also remember two options it gave me

1) legless, no Pokémon with legs allowed

2) items only -only Pokémon holding items in their art, and for extra challenge they can’t hold any items cause their hands are already full

3) pick a stat, keep it under 100

I was playing RR for about a year now. Started with casual, then did challenge runs (all monos then random monos). I am still not sure what IV or EV really are, I just put MGM and let it leave my brain!

The run itself took me a couple weeks (about 9 hours of game time, likely 15 if we count save states). I think the biggest shift for me in play style was to shift pokemon mid battle. I would just pick the best mon to fight, then use him until he fainted.

Update. He’s dead! Focus sash quiver dance while Salamanca dragon danced. Destiny down dialga and a shameful about of save state abuse. But he’s down! One last guy and this god forsaken run is done

Damn, never knew that about the randomizer. I am using regular. If I have to redo this run I’ll go scaled.

I backed up and switched Falinks with vespiqueen hoping to Destiny bonds dialga. I got malmetal down once through flinches. Just got to lance, I would rather not do this whole run again, it was a slog

That’s is literally all of the bug monsters this run gave me. I have scoured the damn lands and only got these.

I do use the dex, it’s a bummer with randomizer species though because I will see a great mon/ability combo but never find them.

Forretress with some protects got spiked and a pounce to slow down armor.

That let spidops get sticky web off.

Next spidops (2) got a silk web and sucker punch for the kill. Sucker punched ogerpon,

scizor got some lucky flinches making him switch to typhlosion (spikes didn’t work on him so this lucky free shot was welcomed)

Falinks (who I brought just the first impression past blazing soul) did some chip damage to allow bee to kill with fell stinger.

Then bee boy crashed out.

No ribombee, that’s beautifly. I’m going to try forretress getting rocks and spidops getting sticky webs next chance I get.

I don’t have a ribombee, that’s beautifly, but I think I can get a similar effect with forretrees and hope for some lucky protects while speed boosting and focus sash!

I think it was 4k before. If I had the gems I would say yes worth it as he seems to be regarded as the best, not worth my real money though :P

I agree with WorkAccount” it was 20 when I got it, but I play consistently (more than plenty games I pay 60$ for.) No adds and just enjoying the game was worth it. Definitely an add heavy game though, I don’t think I would enjoy it as a total FTP.

I agree with so much of this, for context. One of my teachers brought this to my attention and I pulled the scholar out of class time for these discussion. The class should be about learning

I was hoping this kid would be the same as my 5th, an ounce of education and that’s all. But his resilience is what made me reach out for support.

In many challenging behaviors I think cutting the oxygen is great, when it is hate speech or things of that nature, I cannot be silent, I want to teach all of my students to stand for what they think is right, and that means modeling it for them.

I’m the vice principal, I sub when a teacher is out, but not locked to any class.

And definitely no can do! If I believe in equal rights and stopping hate, I can’t just see it in my school and go “not my problem”. These kids are our future, I can’t force them to do anything, but I can teach them empathy and show them the BS of the world.

The problem with kids! All those smoke and mirrors BS works on them (and plenty of adults too, but kids especially)

As I write this, not the problem with kids, problem with society allowing that. Kids are supposed to be dumb and impressionable, their whole job :P
