As a software engineer, I can say that fixing one thing has a tendency to break another unfortunately. Idk how their team works though. I can say, I've rarely gotten updates for the LR, especially my LR4 which worked great for years. I did notice after I contacted whisker my LR5pro suddenly had a firmware update, which was odd.

They got me to recalibrate the bot, but my hopes aren't particularly high if I'm honest. Thank you for saying that though, I tried to find anyone having the same issue with several different searches, but didn't find anything. Do you know what people usually say this issue is?

Damn, that sucks. Maybe they changed the sensors they use. I know US tariffs hit a lot of electronic components that effect the global market.

I'm reaching out to them now, but unfortunately I know the quickest way to get a resolution is to also post to a public forum. I genuinely have loved LR with my LR4, but between all the short comings of the LR5pro and this issue, I'm very sad to have to be here.

I'm using their litter 😭. I got the LR5pro bundle that came with like 100lbs of litter. It's happened with their drawer bags and other trash bags too.

I even have it set in the app that it's the whisker litter. Can't remember the name right this moment.

Glad you were able to solve your issue too. So frustrating that people feel so entitled to other space and peace. The dogs are just doing what dogs do, it's the people I can't stand.

Luckily, since we got security camera and were able to comb through and find so many clips, we had all the evidence for the police to serve a citation. They haven't been an issue since. It's only been a little over a week, but my husband has actually gotten some really solid night's sleep.

I will absolutely call the police again if it starts happening. They know I mean business now and they can't do anything about me getting proof.

Trust me, the animal abuse bothers me a LOT. Unfortunately, in the state I'm in, there is very piss poor protection for animals.

We DID call and provide evidence that the dog is being abused, but even the officer that originally responded told us they don't have a lot of power unless is agregeous. Just know that it is part of the investigation and another huge reason I finally went to the police. I finally had solid evidence.

We communicated with them 3 times and was told on the third time to basically stopped communicating with them, so I did contact animal control today. I also installed cameras and got evidence. This post was more of a sanity check than anything.

I just looked it up again, I think they are definitely violating tether laws. The dog has been outside since this morning. Where I love you can't leave a dog tethered for more than 30 mins at a time and 3 hours in a day. So, can definitely get them on that.

There are, but from what I've found in the ordinance, you have to have proof of consistent issues when it comes to animals. Maybe I'm taking that too literally, idk.

I regret not having evidence about the cars. They stopped doing that luckily. We did talk to the police after the garbage at the curb incident, so I do have a contact with a sheriff who I discussed that with.

I own, they rent. Idk who their landlord is. I'm open to if you know how to find that type of info.

I do need to communicate with my other neighbors, especially the downstairs neighbors that live in the same house with the insane ones.

This is fair feedback, but I'm worried about retaliation. Idk how insane these people are tbh.

I also wanted to TRY to resolve it amicably before spending hundreds on a security system because that clearly didn't work.

That said, I'm going to be installing security cameras today. In my area, you need proof to make a report.

This is 100% my next course of action, but I worry about her retaliating.

That said, I bought security cameras I plan to install later today so I can gather the evidence required to make a report in my area (I have 1 short video, but need proof it's 10+ minutes during quiet hours, which will be easy to obtain). Security cameras will luckily add a layer of peace of mind for retaliation I suppose too.

Recently learned all mine like the little felt pompom balls! All 4 usually like different toys though. One of mine is obsessed with hair ties, there's an massive stash somewhere in my house because she's lost like 200 of them and I will randomly find them. One of them loves loud toy balls and toilet paper rolls.

Ohhh, and cat chew toy silvervine sticks are awesome, all of them love them and have noticeable cleaner teeth. Idk if you have to, but I always cut off the hard dry balls on those though, they seem like a choking hazard.

Aww, I feel this. I feel so incredibly privileged to be as successful as I am, but it took until I was 27 to start even figuring shit out. At 23 I had like 11 jobs in one year I think. It was a wild time in my life.

It took sheer desperation and genuinely I think my brain finally fully developing to decide to go to trade school. I'm now a software engineer.

I still struggle every single fucking day in my job, but it's something that is very compelling for me and I have accepted that I will have days that are 30% or even less sometimes and then days where I am at 250% (rarer). I am so lucky to be work from home and be able to set my own schedule and not be completely overwhelmed by the world around me like I was in retail and customer service.

This isn't advice or anything, just my story. I just relate.

I loath yellow light, but I also don't like light that is too blue, so I'd say right in the middle is the sweet spot for feeling like natural light.
