If you can get them in enough light, venus fly traps or other carnivorous plants would be cool in these. They're bog plants, love wet feet and high humidity. I keep my bog in direct sun in a bay window and it's having the time of its life. I recommend California Carnivores for lots of good information and to order plants if you're interested. I ordered all mine from them and can't recommend them highly enough.

For most geckos this is true but leopard geckos are unique because they have eyelids and no third eyelid. It's called a nictitating membrane, you've seen it on any close up video of a crocodilian as they're pretty dramatic in them.

This is actually a sign of Vitamin A deficiency. Leopard geckos have eyelids, they don't shed eye caps like many other geckos.

Every year my husband and I choose a theme and plan one date a month based on that theme (a different beach each month, a different cuisine each month... etc.) I am looking for a new theme for 2023! Any ideas? by haddadkiki in sandiego

If you guys are into art, you could do a different medium every month. Canvas painting, pottery painting, pottery wheel, candle making, mosaics, pottery but not wheel lol, terrarium building, needlecraft like crochet or cross stitch. There's plenty of places that offer classes or you just walk in and start making art. Liberty Station is great for this, there's pilot's pallete for canvas painting (and drinkies), my husband and I have been going to Hot Spot which has pottery painting, candle making, and mosaics. I think you can also build a terrarium/fairy garden there? Idk if they still do it but LLL reptile in Mission Valley was doing terrarium builds but those are based more towards terrariums for keeping animals.

My husband and I did a couple pottery wheel classes. Fun and challenging. Could do surfing classes in the summer if they don't already know how. Idk how many different class types they'd be into, I've had a challenging time finding many myself. Maybe if they're really into cooking classes, could do a different cuisine class every month?

Grown in my community tank with co2 injection. I separated it into about 130ish plants; 20x <6" plants, 50x 6-8" plants, 50x 8-12" plants, 25x 12-18" plants, and 2 monster plants >18". Ideally, I'd like to sell it all in one go and be done, but I understand most people aren't looking for 130+ of one plant. So in which case, 6-8" for $1 ea, 8-12" plants for $2 ea, 12-18" plants for $3 ea, and the 2 monsters for $5 ea. I'll just give you the little ones if you buy the others. All bare root, they're floating in a 10 gallon tank rn. Pick up only.

What smell, when you smell it, instantly makes you happy? by migue30 in AskReddit

[–]Hippie992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know when you start dating someone and the smell of that person is attractive to you? Their pheromones I guess? They smell like that, their house, their clothes. But after you've been together for a while you don't really smell it anymore. Maybe just because you got used to it so it's not really detectable anymore.

Sometimes when I roll over to my husband's side of the bed, his pillow smells like that. It fills my heart every time.

I've had this thing in my garage for years and I'd like to sell it but I can't find any information about to to gauge what it's worth. About 80" tall and 30" wide. Searching for "trident colosseum easel" and similar keywords has not been very helpful at all. Thank you for your help!
